I have finally caught up (whilst eating mini creme egg - yum!).
Tia -that sonographer sounds really horrible. I don't know why some people work in the jobs they do. I bet he wouldn't be happy if it was his wife in the same situation as you!
The talk of left hand and right hand side has reminded me - I'm finding it more and more difficult to get comfortable in bed now and have on several occasions woken up lying on my back. I always fall to sleep on my side (I know the left hand side is the suggested side, but I tend to fall asleep on whatever side feels the most comfortable at the time) and up until recently I've hardly moved in my sleep and I never used to wake up on my back. I know it's recommended not to sleep on your back, so do you think I'm doing any damage to me/the baby? I think it's something to do with the pressure on your spine, but to be honest, it hasn't been hurting my spine that I am aware of and it's a lot more comfortable than waking up with painful legs which is what I do when I've been on my sides. I wonder if I can feel the painful legs in my sleep, which is why I've been moving on to my back.0 -
i got MW tomorrow she can tell me where his head is for sure but i feel hes definately dropped hopefully this means he'll be early ... you with me on that one MM x

Chopsticks, I was always told that you'll learn to move when it hurts.
And to put a pillow under my knees if I sleep on my back, helps take pressure off your spine. I slept like that with both the boys and even when I was in hospital nobody told me it was bad.
Only time I was told to lie on my left side was in labour.0 -

Chopsticks, I think I read the thing about not sleeping on your back is about pressure on a particular nerve and making you feel dizzy when you get. Personally I wake up with cramp in my calves if I've been sleeping on my back so I try to avoid it - my heart sinks if I wake up on my back cos I think the second I flex my foot, my calf's going to cramp up!
I can only get to sleep on my left side now. I seem to be able to breathe more easily on my left0 -
elle your lucky, I can't get to sleep at all !!!!!!!!!The two best things I have done with my life
