having a lazy evening after another high blood pressure appointment with GP - going back next week and medication is "not inevitable but...". Today's reading was 145/93. But she did sort out letter for booking in at local hospital with reassurances that I will be very closely monitored. The appointment should be within the next couple of weeks - I can almost guarantee it will be when I am working in Asia in just over 2 weeks!

Told one of my colleagues and discovered their OH works for these bods and she may be able to get me a 15% discount - just rooting through their website and came across these which seems quite bargainous to me http://www.thebabycatalogue.com/Reusable-Infant-Nappy-3-9kg/productinfo/BUK1000/ . Far too early for me to buy anything but most of you are way ahead of me!! Will def be doing these rather than disposables though - if we can move out of this 1 bed flat into a place with a garden for line drying by then!!

Searching - hugs to you, I can empathise with the neighbour problem - to add to that whenever I opened windows I used to get enormously strong wafts of weed too, whatever the time or day! Hope you get something sorted and soon.

Well, reached 38 weeks with the twins!

Had a midwife check up. Have sailed through pregnancy and now my BP was high, she didn't like the look of my swollen legs etc and suggested I went to the labour ward to get checked over.

We went and have only just returned after being there for about 5 hours. Heartbeats were monitored for a long time. My BP was checked several times and went down slightly. My pee has proteins in it but not enough to be concerned about. They don't think I have pre-elampsia but I have to go back to hospital on Friday so the same checks.

Was quite a reality check as my Braxton Hicks pains were high and it could be any day for me now.
