Ds has a peanunt allergy and i didn't eat them while pg so maybe this time i should eat them.
Ds has 2 godparents and i choose a couple who are very close to us and who could take care of ds and give him the best life if anything was to happen to us. Sadly we can't see into the future and the couple who were so in love and so strong have spilt up.
I surpose someone had better put my EDD on are you ready for it?...........

Congrats Glamazon, make sure your OH takes his glasses next time!
Another educational note - lying on your left is good for you and your baby as there is a venal something or other - blood supply - down one side and if you lie on your left you and the baby get more blood (oxygen) woops.. forgotten most of the details but hopefully you get the idea!
I read this and now in my subconscious I always roll onto my left in my sleep :rotfl:
Forget to say my placenta was quite high out of the way which was good.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I've tried to catch up but sorry if I miss anyone:
Glam and Jm - goncrats on team blue
Ml - yay for team lilac!
:T
Claire - that sounds worrying, hugs to you.
MrsMoc (I think) hope you can rest at home and good news they will let. (Hope I have the right person!).
I had my MW app today - all went well. I'd been worried about the size of my bump, and when she said to me 'ooh isn;t your bump neat' I said 'OK, now I'm worried, is the baby the right size?'
So she measured and I'm measuring 27 weeks, which is fine as I may be 27 or 28, we can;t tell exactly cos of the mc. I guess it is just all baby and no fat so I should be grateful!
I was also concerned that the baby was breech at the scan at 21 weeks, but she felt around and said it is definitely head down now, so that's great.
We did discuss before she checked what would happen about my home birth if it was still breech, and she said 'well, it has until 37 weeks to turn, but if not then we wouldn;t let you'.
I went quiet and gave her my 'look' because I know they can;t stop you, and she added 'unless you insisted of course' with a smile, cos she is very pro-home birth.
But as it turns out I don;t need to have that fight, which is great. Although I'm pleased to know that I can insist should Bubba turn back round again (assuming a straightforward breech presentation rather than one of hte more difficult ones).
The heartbeat was 130 which seems quite low but I did read it slows down a bit as you get further on, and she took blood.
I asked about my painful scar and 'squishy bit' (weird soft bit above tummy button and below scar in middle which is painful if pressed) and she thinks it is just stretching and linked to the scar. She didn;t investigate it by prodding so I guess she isn;t worried.
Ooh what else? She didn;t weigh me so I have no idea how heavy I am, I got my HiPG and MATB1 forms off her, and she is phoning me tomorrow about breastfeeding classes - bless her she was so excited when I asked about them!
We also booked her home visit for 34 weeks as I am having a HB - I guess she needs to check the house out?
Then I went to my mate's house for a lovely lunch and a two-hour walk in the countryside, which was lovely.
And I realised we go to Paris on Tuesday :T :j It's come so soon I'd forgotten! So now rather excited and going to have hair and nails done before we go (it's an early anniversary trip).
Hope everyone else is well. :A:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I think I'll just eat nuts then - neither me or OH has asthma or eczema.
I'll update my list now with your EDD - wow Christmas Day!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

congratulations Glam, thanks for updating the list, my placenta is at the back which she said was good. she didnt say anything about the size of baby so i presume its pretty average, she was a bit funny actually (the sonographer), jackson was talking about 'the baby in mummys belly' and she said to him 'well we had better hope its not in her belly or we have got problems', as if im gonna explain to a 3 year old that its in my womb, things are confusing enough for him as it is!0
