re flat viewing: mmm had a look on street view ... i am not moving off the council estate but then again converted and modern purpose built flats are all tiny so who cares what the outside is like and lets see the inside. It is a five storey red brick block.
As for food i had a runny egg at home the other day but when i was out i insisted it was well cooked - i know my own standards!0 -

DH has left work and will be home in 10 mins:j I think he must be even more nervous than me as he asked if we had time for lunch - bless. There is ALWAYS time for lunch in my book!

actually, not to stun everyone, but nowadays you can actually eat pork cooked medium and up (i.e., it doesn't have to be well done). The reason everyone thinks you can't is because pork didn't use to be as clean, etc. or have as many regulations. Ignoring the swine flu situation, technically you can undercook it and there's no innate harm.
of course, i find it gross, but as I used to work in steak restaurant and people would give me weird looks when asking how they wanted their pork chops cooked!!!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Well, we ordered the pushchair/travel system from Kiddicare - just got the footmuff, the raincover, and the matching nappy bag today. I think the rest is coming in the next day or so. If not, I'll have to call them. LOL Thought it looked a bit compact!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

Well, I am just back from my scan and in a serious state of shock.
The scan was great, I still have major placenta previa but it has not progressed in 2 weeks. On Friday it will be 2 weeks since my last bleed.
My consultant has said if I still have no bleeding by Friday I can go home.
OMG!!!!
I dont know whether to laugh or cry. I am delighted to be going home but scared senseless they are making a mistake!!!
I still have the same risks as before so that hasn't changed. She has said its to keep me sane and because they know I will have to be readmitted at some stage but that it could be days/weeks/months before the next bleed.
I also still run the risk of taking a massive heamorrage which would be life threatening for me and baby if I dont make it back in time for an emergency CS.
So Im to come back on Tuesday for a scan!!! OMG.
I dont know what to think. I am so nervous of something happening but so ecstatic at going home.
Im not looking advice on this but peoples opinions would be much appreciatted, after all this is my life and baby's at risk.
I just dont know what to think.0 -

SM - I wonder how you'd react if you had a blindfold on and someone fed you some really good quality medium steak? Maybe it's the look of it you react against?
It also means I have to take the majority of my hols at the same time and he ends up bored stiff at the end of it. He gets a day off on his own during the week where he just chills out and does nothing - hence why I do all the housework etc on the weekend.
For me it's normally the look of something that puts me off so agree that blind-folding would be a good ideaA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Mrs Moc, it's great news that nothing has gotten worse in the last 2 weeks! I think you will probably be a lot more relaxed at home, but it the risks are the same then you need to be really careful that you don't over do it... Your hubby will need to know that just because you are there it doesn't mean he can stop everything he's been doin while he's been holding the fort... Do you think you could go home and still rest as much as you have in hospital?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
