 You don't suffer from pregnant woman's bladder then. I'd never get all the layers off in time when the urge to pee hits me...
Do you know, I am surprised at the capacity of my bladder this time around... It's only been the last couple of days since my bump dropped that my pees are getting smaller... When I was having Aimee I had to pee every half an hour and it was about 3ml a time... I'm still pretty much the same as when I'm not pregnant now... Don't know if it's the position of the baby... Or the fact I always sit and hold until I can't hold it any longer... I know it's not good for me... And I spend many hours going on at Aimee about how it's bad for her to do it... But until I get a downstairs loo I don't think anything will change ;)

  • Hello

Good luck for all the ladies going for scans - i am quite jealous! I can't wait to see mine <fingers crossed>

Off to see new flat tonight - if i can reach hubby! We live in the a very very small 1 bed flat above a shop. It was fine when i was fancy free but since he has moved in you can't move. Put it this way the double bed is against the wall so i have climb to get into bed! Not great as i suddenly need to wee in the night and am dizzy when i first get up!

Sorry to hear about your DH's work - mine's not that much better. They made him take holiday for his gran's funeral so that probably says enough (my boss let me go 'for free' even though it wasn't my gran - he knows I do my work, trusts me and is happy to be flexible) Luckily his immediate boss has 2 small ones so is showing a totally uncharacteristic generosity with regards to scans (altho I think he knows he shouldn't push DH on this one!) DH is one of the best performing salespeople so boss knows he's earning his salary for him

The main problem is the 2 guys he work with don't have kids and aren't family orientated, 1 has a girlfriend who lives 100 miles away so thinks nothing of staying until 10pm and the other one is just weird!

He gets 25 days hols but can only take them in a block from 1st June and not at any other time of the year, his current contract says he must work 40 hours (more like 50) and must have 2 consectuive days off though these won't be Saturday and Sunday. He's lucky to get 2 days off a week let alone 2 one after another.
Now they want him to do more work for the same money - we'll see how it goes I think. For the work he does and the money it generates it makes him sick that he's earning less than everyone else.

Where does the time go?

Don't think I've ever had food poisoning... But I do have a cast iron stomach... Still like my meat cooked though lol... I don't like the flavour of rare steak... Or the fact you have to chew it for days... I like my beef stewed so it just falls apart in your mouth...

  • Glam - he has to take all his holiday in one long block?! wow that is prescriptive. Don't think I could manage without some regular time off (at least once every couple of months, if only for a day!)

SM - I wonder how you'd react if you had a blindfold on and someone fed you some really good quality medium steak? Maybe it's the look of it you react against?
