  • Hugs going out to you bumblebee.

My husband is the opp - hes a bit ocd about the house and complains that i'm untidy. He has been doing a lot more since I got pregnant (we blitz the house together at the weekends, and he does more than I do) but he does complain that it needs blitzing in the first place - seeing as i'm at home i should be keeping on top of it. I think its only going to get worse when I'm too busy/tired running around after a baby - especially as he might take a backseat with regards to the cleaning when i'm no longer pregnant. :(

It's my second... Have a 5yo... And hubby's very good at saying 'you sit down and rest today darling' and never makes me feel bad for not doing things... But I can't just sit here and look at the mess, I can't let people visit when the place hasn't been vacuumed in a fortnight and Aimee's half eaten apple is still sitting on the coffee table!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

lol, at least he's got the "sit down and rest" part right, now if only he would clean while you're resting! lol...

probably harder for people who stay at home to get their OH's to clean, I can see that...i'm sure mine will turn into that someday when the baby is born and I'm not working full-time!!

Tara, at least your OH tries... I get up every morning to a chopping board covered in crumbs from where he's made the sandwiches... And the butter knife sitting there, usually with butter still on it... This morning, Aimee was stood there blowing the crumbs across the work surface so now I'll have to fetch everything off to rescue all the crumbs... There's just no effort!

At least he makes sandwiches - I make packed lunches for DD, DS1 and DH on a morning - I lost it with him (DH) on Fri morning when I'd done some emergency ironing (ie: school uniform) and went to make sarnies whilst he was sat on the sofa watching breakfast tv! And he will put his plate/ mug/ bowl (whatever) on the worktop above the dishwasher - he can't actually seem to manage to open the dishwasher and put something in

    Grr!!! :D

Changing the topic, has anyone due mid May packed their bag yet? I haven't (well, I have thrown a pack of mat towels and a pack of nappies in a bag!!) And I'm getting lots of low pressure and almost period pain twinges - so I almost get excited - but I still think this one will be late like all my others - humf!! I shall be SO jealous of anyone due around the week I am who arrives early/ on time!! :rotfl:

  • Morning everyone

So sorry to hear of your lost Bumblebee.

I went to the Drs this morning. First thing she was well done and congratulations. She couldn't find her wheel thing to work out the dates, so asked me. I got a little "book" called Emma's Diary. Apparently the MW will write to me in two weeks with an appointment.

Still dizzy and have cramps - no bleeding

Oh yeah, hubby will only load the dishwasher in one big go.. None of this 'putting in as you go along' business... I used to do his packed lunch for him, but since being pregnant, I need the extra half an hour in bed so he makes his own... and Aimee's half a sandwich while he's there... I pack the rest of her lunch...

I have baby's bag packed... And some nighties and towels shoved in a suitcase... And a list of things that need to be packed... But that's about it really... I keep getting low period type pains too... Would be nice if they'd lead to something!

Have you tried downing tools until they have no clean cups they have to wash one?
    ...

That's the problem he'd just wash one :rotfl::rolleyes:
My OH always puts plates etc on the worktop next to sink/above dish washer usually with out scraping it and with the addition of a tissue/scrunched up crisp packet
I love how he says "I work all day, its ur job to clean" but then when he's home alone with Christopher I come back to dirty nappies in sacks on the lounge floor!! apparently walking upstairs to the 'changing area' with a bin or putting a nappy in the outside bin is too much work when ur watching a toddler yet I'm supposed to do dishes, hoovering, clean kitchen and bathroom, make his side of bed (something I refuse to do!) and greet him home from work with the smell of homemade food being cooked - there's seriously no hope there! *sigh*

Greent - I'm due 3rd June and have been meaning to pack the hosp bag for weeks, no sign yet :undecided

he he, if she'd looked in the emma's diary she'd have found a table for EDDs :p
hope cramps are nothing to worry about, Did she check ur BP to see if its low/high and therefore possible cause of dizziness?
