It's lashing down today after having been glorious all of last week ~ typical it has to be today whn I've just stripped our bed and put it in our machine grrr!

Had another crap night last night, woke up God knows how many times, with either a dead leg and arm, or needing a wee. It hurts sooo much to move in bed now, just wish I could get comfortable in one position.

Just realised that today my Nan gets her reults from the hospital, she's got cervical cancer so today we will find out if there is anything they can do for her :(

    Morning everyone....

It has been really quiet on here lately....I think i feel like quite a few of you on here. Im 30 + 1 today and im shattered. Glad im finished work too otherwise i dont think id manage it. Tho i have been really busy getting jobs done in the house. Nursery all finished and it looks lovely.

Im finding it much harder this time round than i did the other two. My hips hurt, im not sleeping well and feel really uncomfortable. It must be around this time it happens tho as ive noticed quite a few of us due around the same time all complaining of feeling the same.

Hope everyone else feels a bit better this morning x

Shell, fingers crossed for your Nan, I hope there's something they can do for her :)

I had a pretty rotten nights sleep.. No change there... Aimee had a trauma this morning because she couldn't find her cap after she'd played with it in the garden... Went out the front door crying but I had a final scout around and found it underneath something so the situation was salvaged... Hubby ran out this morning and fetched some crunchy nut cornflakes and milk especially.... But it tastes like washing powder... making my mouth go funny! Might see if there's a kellogs careline to ring and complain to...

Oh and shopping is coming some time between 12 and 2 so really need to do something with the kitchen... I am so sick of gutting it though, every time I turn around it looks worse than when I started... Why can nobody else in this house wipe a work surface down?!

Krystal, sounds like my house, stood OH next to worktop on Saturday and tried calmly to explain that putting cold water on a sponge and moving across the worktop is not gonna actually clean it, just multiply the germs, still did the same yesterday!

Shell, hope all goes well for your Nan. X

    Hi ladies,

Sorry, I've not posted for a while. There seems to be so much going on I haven't had a chance to look in.

Anyway, my update is my line manager seems to be watching what she says to me so I haven't had cause for complaint although I'm fed up of explaining pregnancy relating expressions to her, as she hasn't had a baby and doesn't know what I'm talking about!

I had a bit of a scare on Sunday morning, I'm 18 weeks gone and I had a bit of a show. There didn't seem to be anything else for the rest of the day or this morning so far but I rang the midwife and she's seeing me later to check the heartbeat. It's the first kind of 'bleed' I've had, has anyone else had similar as looking on the net it sems to be a first trimester thing?

    Good luck, Shellsuit.

Bear, I hope all is ok but I'm sure I remember someone on here saying that had several shows all the way through pregnancy, can't remember who it was though.

Tara, at least your OH tries... I get up every morning to a chopping board covered in crumbs from where he's made the sandwiches... And the butter knife sitting there, usually with butter still on it... This morning, Aimee was stood there blowing the crumbs across the work surface so now I'll have to fetch everything off to rescue all the crumbs... There's just no effort!

Bear, hope all goes well with the midwife. I think it was AM that was told the mucus plug can come away and regenerate itself during pregnancy, but that's not medical advice you understand ;)

I just emailed kiddisave, after taking my buggy back and being promised a refund, heard nothing and nothing was showing on google... 12 mins after emailing I got a refund... Funny that!

Ah Krystal, 2 years of counselling to get him to realise that helping around the house was ok! Before that he had never even used the washing machine.
