Thanks, guys. I'll ask my midwife when I see her why it happens etc.

I found my OH to be morer supportive and more likely to pick up the bathroom cleaner when I showed him the book the midwife gave me about how partner's should be helping rather than hindering your pregnancy. There was a list of things they could do ranging from offering to make tea and making sure you had suitable soft drinks in when friends called around and everyone else had alcohol to taking on more of the chores and cooking dinner.

Have you tried downing tools until they have no clean cups they have to wash one?

So sorry, Bumblebee, don't give up hope.

  • Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is feeling ok. Bear - I hope its nothing to worry about, I hear bleeds can be quite common throughout pregnancy.

I've not been on for a while as it consumes so much of my time (i dont get enough done with my days normally without coming on here!!).
EA- sorry to hear about your loss - hopefully you'll be back again soon.

Am getting really close to the end now - got my induction booked in for thurs morning but according to the mw i saw on sat i should deliver before then. She did a sweep and apparently i was already 2-3cm dilated and thats without much uterine activity. She thought I was likely to go into active labour over the weekend........but I'm still waiting!! (the waiting around has made the time drag soooo much - never been so bored!)

I have had my show and am just waiting for the pain to start...its GOT to be today. please send labour vibes!!!!

Oh and labour vibes to everyone else who needs them:D

Wouldn't make a difference to my hubby bear, he only drinks coke... And would just swig from the bottle if there were no clean glasses...

He does the dishwasher now seeing as I can't bend over it... And does the litter tray because of the cat poop risk... But I have to remind him constantly... And I'm sitting here today in a house that stinks of cat pee because the litter needs changing but all he could be bothered to do yesterday was scoop the poop...

I get sick of asking... And being treated like a nag... But he really is untidy... He'll step over something 20 times before he'll pick it up... And even then, probably only because I've asked... His excuse is, he works so he doesn't need to clean the bath... Or mop the floor...

Searching - That's why you NEED a garden! isn't that a good enough reason for the council to give you one?? :p having grown up in a house where dogs were strictly forbidden inside the idea of having one in the house all the time grosses me out a bit :o
Shell - Hope they can do something for your Nan xx
Tara - at least they 'look' clean?? :D
Bear - Glad ur boss is being less of a cow, it is common to have some bleeding in early pregnancy most often around when you would have been having a period, I read that something like 1 in 4 pregnant women have unexplained bleeding in pregnancy so I'm sure your fine :)
I had some at 4ish weeks which they put down to implantation but I was soo scared because it happened just a few days after my friend had found out she'd had an ectopic.

Well I feel skank :( I have thrush in my mouth - receptionist at GPs said its just as common as having it 'down there' but I can't help thinking I've passed it on myself _pale_ so I'm now washing my hands constantly and I've changed all the hand towels. yuk yuk yuk!! (It blooming hurts too!! my tongue is constantly tingling )

sorry to hear, bumble...big hugs & my thoughts are with you & your family

Krystal - is this your first? i dunno, i'm only 6 1/2 wks, but already OH wants to treat me like glass! it's sweet, but a tad annoying at times...I'm sure it will wear off when he gets sick of me being pregnant, lol. the only thing I can think of is making one afternoon designated cleaning time - I find my OH much more willing to help clean if I'm cleaning too, so I save mine until he's home and then we each do 1 thing at the same time.
