    Morning all..

Busy busy day for me.. Got to wash my hair in a min then Mum's going to cut it for me. Then going shopping for an outfit for OH to wear this afternoon (jeez, nothing like last minute!) and I hate buying clothes for him! He's not fussed about what he wears but as their my friends and I'm chosing I feel like his mother, dictating what he wears! :o Carpet shopping, card/present shopping (not for this afternoon tho) then going to the wedding for 4pm!

LOL My mum's just come down in new trousers which she's bought for today - she said she's feeling fat and thinks she's "coming out in sympathy with me"! :D

Right, must dash.. catch up later xx

I used to post on here ocassionally when I was preg with DS1 , don't know if any of you remember me but I had my son Thomas 3 months early on 21/1/09 weighing in at 1lb 15ozs . Just thought I would update you that on Thursday afternoon after 3 months and 2 days in hospital and now weighing in at a hefty 5lb 15ozs Thomas finally came home :j:j:j

Good luck to you all with your pregnancies xxx

Congratulations - and welcome home Thomas! :T That must have been a really difficult 3 months for you and your family!

  • natalie1974 - Congrats to you and Thomas. Glad to hear he's doing so well :D

As for me I've spent ages catching up then go and forget everything I was going to write - darn pregnancy brain!

Scan was fine this week even though they were quite concerned baby is currently breech, I'm not sure why though as I'm only 28 & 5

Our first NCT class went well and everyone seemed really nice so hoping we can get to know some other couples in the same boat.

Plans for the day are to FINALLY! finish clearing the nursery and I'm under strict instructions that there is no way I will get out of it and convince DH to do something more exciting! - We'll see shall we

Have a good saturday morning all

    Good morning ladies! :j

What a wonderful, beautiful day it is. After all my whinging I finally convinced my beloved husband to do his husbandly duty and I feel so much better.

He, however, is still far sicker than me and is still sleeping off the exertion. :rotfl:

    Today's plan will mostly involve

heading over to my old place
putting the bathroom rug and sofa throw in the laundry
    cleaning all four rooms
    sweeping the balcony
checking the mailbox and removing my name from it
final checks for Stuff That Is Mine
removing the last of the stuff to come over here
    vacuuming the hallway
    moving everything over here
finding a place to put it

I have decided that for my birthday I want a print of Blake's picture Teach These Souls To Fly for the nursery wall and/or a pair of turquoise shoes in a half size larger than my current pair of bright red ones. My birthday is in two months but it pays to be prepared.

I also want to go to Ikea at some point. We need a changing table and either a child's wardrobe or another set of shelves, and plastic baskets for the shelves we bought the other day. And I need another shoe rack. Possibly three. First we need to finish organising the apartment. We got a lot done yesterday but it was hard, hard going.

Breakfast time then I'm off - don't talk too much while I'm gone!

So he's putting £1000 in the maternity fund, spending £100 on a fishing trip and taking me out for dinner tonight ;) The rest is probably going to pay off a chunk of his cards :)

So it's going to be a NICE shopping trip today ;)

MM... I told hubby about the fadge bread... He asked if you could make a sausage sandwhich out of it? lol

Tine, well done on the little windfall! As far as nursing bras go, when your milk comes in you'll probably burst out of the one you buy but give it a few days and the dolly parton look tends to wear off and they settle down again... After a couple of months, most women find they settle right down a bit smaller and stay softer between feeds...

Well our plans for today have gone up the wall... Was going to be cracking the whip on hubby up the garden this morning but we got up and it's peeing it down... Oh well, this afternoon we're off to take the buggy back and sort out the plan for replacement and then off to B&Q for some fash growing plants to grow over the fence to next door... And an new ironing board!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Aw Natalie, congrats to you and Thomas, you must be so pleased to have him home :smileyhea

    Great news Mrs.T! :j

I slept right through till 5.21 am before I needed a pee! Bliss. And my back is a big bit better. I can walk. Can't bend and all the pain is in the muscles round my sides and round my bump, but so much better.

But, been getting strong BH this morning. I'm sure it must be connected to al the muscle strain going on. I feel beat up.

Awwww, wee gareth gates on saturday kitchen....
