We get told to ask if we want to know. Otherwise they will not offer to tell you. But my scan was done by my lovely consultant, who was as happy as us when she saw 'skin folds' and I've to ask on Wednesday for her to check again (as we couldn't see round the front). She also gave us 2 pics, practically unheard of here unless you are carrying twins (or it's bad news).

eBay don't let you sell second hand ones anymore...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

It is corrie though the whole thing is rediculous her bump is faaaaar too low down and too small (she is supposed to be the same as me) and they didn't say why she was having a scan at 34 weeks either it was shown as if it was the 20wk one

Duh :p - she had a stillborn last time round so she has regular scans. That why she was bricking it about going. Agree about the bump - OH said wow ur much bigger than her!

Nicki - I was asking in general, just wanted to know IF they could see it. God - I just looked back at the picture - Nicki, I'm a bit stupid but not THAT stupid :rotfl:

Right, now that an irate pt has got my BP and Heart rate rocketing all because I said 'Hello, Can I help u?' I'm off home!!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

yeah but they haven't mentioned her having any other extra scans or even appointments and if it wasn't a 20wk scan they wouldn't offer to tell her the sex coz she would have found out already:p You'd think with all the real life babies they've had recently they'd know more about it :rotfl:
Mind you I think soaps are so rubbish at research I don't know why the bother employing researchers coz they crap! MIL always gets really p'd off when theres police on anything coz they don't follow any of the rules even basic ones like showing a prisoner being left in a cell wearing a tie

PS maybe it was because you should have said MAY I help you? :p
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

My toddler home & other one gone with his dad, teenage DS at work, DH coming home soon & we're going to have fish & chips for tea, toddler not slept today, so early bed, so i can make sister's birthday card for tomorrow & get stuck into a Terry Pratchett I got from the library - I think that's a smashing end to a Friday! :rotfl:
Now sis & nephew have gone & house is quiet, toddler suddenly seems tired - putting his head down on dining chairs & asked for his dummy, hope he doesn't nod off before tea now!
