Oh wow - now I am really looking forward to my scan next week. That is sooooo amazing - I know it sound silly but I can't believe how much bigger it will be than the 12w scan. I will be 19 + 1. :j Nearly half way!

Could they see the sex even though u asked not to be told?

Oh yeah - Sami remember we were talking about Nuchal's at Wigan?
Spoke to Wigan MW yday who checked me over - she said it's not available on NHS but they do the scans at Wigan and then send bloods off to Leeds, so that might have been what u were thinking about!

No Glam the sex wasn't mentioned at all. She didn't ask if we wanted to know.
I am glad really, because i would have found it really hard to say no, don't tell me.

Think you have to ask them to tell you.

I was watching Corrie the other night and thought that the way the sonographer asked Maria if she wanted to know was a bit unfair as she was put on the spot so can see why they wouldn't mention it.

People in work are having bets on whether it's a boy or girl.

Am sure I just got booted in the spine :j

Yeah, i though that was totally unreal. But i suppose some may ask. But thought they didn't ask you and the onus was on you to ask if they could tell you, because they aren't always 100% right.

It is corrie though the whole thing is rediculous her bump is faaaaar too low down and too small (she is supposed to be the same as me) and they didn't say why she was having a scan at 34 weeks either it was shown as if it was the 20wk one

I wasn't even asked if I wanted to know at either of my 20wk scans I had to ask at Chris's and didn't even think about it until I'd walked out of this one:p

I'm just watching The Hospital from the other night, one of the fatties said her boyf was really skinny and could eat what he liked - if thats what she called really skinny I'd hate to see what she thinks of my dad coz her boyf looked like my OH and I don't think you would call him 'skinny' never mind 'really skinny' he just normal with a lil podge belly

hehe looks like he/she is blowing bubbles! It's amazing how clear they are, you can see facial features. Cute!
