Just back from Asda where I eventually picked up my Bounty Pack and my Huggies Newborn Starter Kit. Having a lazy day now. Absolutely starving though so having some crusty bread with butter and some BBQ rotisserie chicken. Yum!

    Hello ladies and bumps!

    Hope all is well :D

I now have sandals that fit my huuuuge swollen feet!! And they are lovely!!! :D

I must say that my first antenatal class 3 weeks ago I was the furthest along out of everyone but the only one at the class who had normal sized feet.. OH reminded last night of this so feeling better that I have got to 35 weeks before my feet ballooned.
    DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

    Thanks for the info! :)

My concern at the moment is my complete lack of ability to completely stop smoking.
I know i'll be hated/flamed/cursed for admitting it but i've been smoking the occassional cigarette still, to curb the cravings. I think once i've spoken to GP and confirmed the pregnancy it'll hit home more though and kick me into actually quitting altogether.
When i was pregnant with DS (6) i was still smoking 3 - 4 a day which i'm obviously not proud of but i was homeless and my partner had walked out on me so i felt it helped my stress at the time :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I've done 20 mins on the cross trainer today in my bid to get fit/lose some flab, although i'm not really dieting but am more conscious of eating that 2nd packet of crisps :o:p

My attitude is that swollen feet look old ladyish so I may as well get the shoes to go with the feet lol :rotfl:

They are mega comfy I had some a few years ago when I broke 2 toes on my right foot and I loved them :D So I was a clarks sandals convert when I was 21.... admittedly my feet are size 8 and so I struggle to find shoes in other shops. But feet are important, they take a lot of pounding so putting them in some comfy shoes is a reward for them :rotfl:

I hadn't heard this thing about waiting for 6 weeks before starting up again until I read the other thread, and I'm on baby no 3! In fact, I always thought you were supposed to be back in the saddle before the 6 week check, as if there were still any problems in that department, then they could be sorted out then.

With both my two, while still in hospital, the doctor came round and suggested we use condoms until the 6 week check when long term contraception would be sorted out. I had a csection with no 1 and tore and had stitches with no 2 and was certainly back in action well before 6 weeks after both, though can't remember now exactly how long we did wait.

    Hello

Very nervous; i really shouldn't tell anyone yet but i had a positive test result this morning. Had a look on the internet and should be due mid December. Had healthy food and not smoked today. Bit worried about money as hubby and i were not suppose to be trying for another year as i have only just got a new job (although no start date yet!) after being made redundant.
I am just trying to work out what i am suppose to do now!
