  • I'm just sat out in the garden- feeling very pleased with myself having just planted all the veggie seeds.

Off on a family visit in a bit, and OH is still in bed as he is currently on nights. Hope everyone is having lovely weather. Ours is sunny but not that warm. Trying to make the most of it to boost the old Vit D!

  • Hellooo....

Well its been an odd start to the day...I woke up and eat 3 chocolate digestives for breakfast...And Some how fell back asleep in the bathroom on the floor wrapped in a towel after a shower ..I dont know what i was thinking...Perhaps i thought, ill just sit for a minute im knackered and fell asleep?..Who knows!!

So anyway im in tesco and im in the juice section and this old man started to talk to me,so i made polite conversation back, everything seemed totally normal and then he looks at me,goes quiet and says "Got any dice?" .........I didnt know what to do or say,or where to look..So i just said "Yes actually im quite the board game lover...I frequently fill my pockets with dice"...And he goes "oh" and leaves ....

It's all been so weird.Ive actually retreated to the sofa with my duvet to hide :o

seems the sun is shining everywhere! waiting for OH to get ready and then we are off out for a bike ride - so tired in the evenings that I hope the fresh air will help to keep me awake for a bit longer!

Plus doing something normal I used to do might help me get over the trauma of the new bra size shopping yesterday - seem to have gone from a C to a DD in the last 3 weeks, seemed a bit early to be buying a maternity bra but needed something! Will investigate figleaves when we next get a discount voucher for one more glamourous than some M&S cotton tents!!!! Even if they are comfy!

Hope you all have a lovely afternoon, cake or no cake! Mmm, might pop round to in-laws on way back from bike ride, bound to get cake there! Really looking forward to telling them both when we get 12 weekish scan, think they will be super chuffed! My mum and stepdad are excited already although being cautious as its so early (only told them as I was in hospital in week 4/5). Although MIL is bit of a shopping fiend so our tiny flat is going to be full about 30 seconds after we tell them - might have to tactfully somehow stop her shopping, even if it's all meant well - any ideas how I can do that?????
well no idea how to stop MIL shopping but if you're lucky she'll be superstitious (they all seam to be?!?) and won't let you have any of it in the house until bubba is here as 'its bad luck'

I did try to get away at first but it wasnt an easy exit..So i thought just and nod and ooh and arrr in all the right places and he was happy...although clearly he had an secret motive to rob me for my dice ...I did laugh though ..I dont think he was expecting my responce :rotfl:

I heard a women close by snort with a grin when she heard me:D

ooh ladies do you remember I told you about a nice t-shirt that I got in sainsbury's that was fab as maternity, well I'm deff gonna go get some of the other colours today because I came across the receipt and although the tag said £5 on the receipt underneath the "t-shirt £5.00" it had "VAT back and 25% disc -£1.33" so actually the top cost me £3.67 :T

    Morning all :D
MM- congrats on ur star - a while until u catch me tho :p
Where was this jiggy after baby thread? I know we discussed it a bit in the parents thread and one of the mummies said a MW told her they'd caught a couple at it on the maternity ward  We waited about 3 or 4 months, was very uncomfortable and poor OH was left to finish via his own devices after the first try :o

OH gave me some bad news this morning... The mouse is back in the loft :(
But yesterday was good we went to B&Q and got some nice wallpaper for the wall that we didn't have enough paper for in the kitchen and the tiles for another bit of kitchen (which OH did half of yest and is finishing off as I type :D) we also picked some paper for our 'new' bedroom and randomly it was OH that picked it  I wasn't sure in the shop but when he put it against the wall at home in the natural light I loved it, its this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ARTHOUSE-MIA-FEATURE-WALL-WALLPAPER-STONE_W0QQitemZ250394639818QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090324?IMSfp=TL090324115002r9983
    you like?
    :eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have to say I'm already gagging for a bit of OH's haggis :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I know your supposed to leave it 6 weeks but if I hold out for another week i'll be surprised :D

Hi all.. just dropping by quickly :)

Fence is going up at a great rate of knots in the front garden. Dad's hammering and Mum's painting, with the neighbour watching on and making chitchat about plants and the poor parking down our street! It's the height of recycling - it's the fence planks taken down from my parents' front garden and put up in ours! :D Neighbour has also just insisted on giving us £60 for the fence despite it only costing £90 in total for the new materials too.

OH has gone out on a mission to B&Q (don't understand what for, but it's a fence ingredient apparently!) but I stayed here cos Bob is being annoying and using my bladder as a punchbag so I'd prob spend all my time looking for the nearest loo anyway! :(

Back later xx Hope everyone's enjoying the sunshine xx

Awww OH just phoned me, (for the umpteenth time today) and said he wished 'me and the bairns' were at the tournament with him and he cant wait to get home, i know it's not exactly the best thing for anyone to say but by OH's standards it is, he's not one for showing his emotions or being overly loving so it means the world to me and has made me cry :o
