  • AM- I am so pleased that you're enjoying it so much. Ryan sounds like a model baby!

MrsT- Sorry to hear you had a rubbish night's sleep. Can you just relax today? I think I might go and sit in the garden with a book when it warms up a bit. I'm also going to brave town though as I bought a jacket in M&S to wear to a wedding this week but have decided it's horrid so am taking it back! That's £50 to spend on baby stuff and I can wear a cardi to the wedding!

Wow, I don't know how I'm going to keep up with this thread! :D Probably more 'work' than the baby itself will be!! :P

Good to hear the birthstory - like hearing other people's experiences.

Weather looks like it will be gorgeous today...hmmm, sitting out in the garden with a book and a cuppa? Can't wait for summer to properly be here!!

money maker - I don't have a bump yet, but my body would not let me go back to sleep after feeding the cat at 6am! Really annoying, as of course it's back to the grind tomorrow at work! :P

Insomnia kicks in to us all at some point !!!

I was exhausted for the first 4 months then couldnt sleep for a month and have been fine for the last 6 weeks or so, but am now back to not being able to sleep at night !!!

I can sleep for Britain through the day though, but don't think my customers would appreciate that much !!!

  • Hiya all.
    Hope everyone is ok.
We are doing great, Ryan has settled into a nice little routine at night, he goes every 4 hours sometimes more, for a feed and straight back to sleep, it's great.
OH and I take it in turns to do the nights, which is a help for both of us, and we tend to spend the first half the night downstairs with bubs so the other can get a good preiod of uninterupted sleep, it's working really well for us.
I cant beleive he's a week old today, it's gone so quick!
OH has gone out to his little brothers rugby tournament today so I have bubs all to myself until about 6pm :D
I can honestly say that I am so bloody happy right now, I never thought it was gonna be like this, OH has been great, I've even noticed him getting closer to Aston, and is now refering to both of them as his sons.

So glad all is going well, AM! :T

We started off doing the same as what you and OH are and it worked for us too. I can cope with almost anything as long as I've had a chunk of sleep! :D.

    xx
