Morning ramblers
Congrats on your bronze medal MM
I'm up rediculously early for a Sunday - can't remember the last time I was up this early on a non-work day! Couldn't get back to sleep after OH left for work then hunger took over so I had to get up.
I have a question, but pls understand it's about how doctors work, not asking for medical advice. I keep waking up feeling really stuffy and I know it's hayfever (had it for years - this is the mildest ever). I was told last summer I could still take my usual spray for it, but now it's out of date. It's £8+ to buy in Boots, so would be good if I could get it free on prescription. It's not on my repeat prescription list (cos one bottle lasts about two years). Can I phone the receptionists tomorrow and ask them to check with the doctor if I can have it in pregnancy (look willing and it'll prob be a different doctor to last time anyway) and ask if they can issue me with a prescription for it, or will I have to go see them and ask myself? I've always been coincidentially going for something else when I've also asked for a new spray in previous years (been using this same thing for about eight years) - just seems a waste of my time and theirs if I have to go and ask myself! Anyone know? Thanks!
Hope everyone has a good day xx Does sparkle still need labour vibes?0 -
I think it depends on your doctor. I can call my doctors and ask for a repeat prescription for eye drops when DD gets conjunctivits AGAIN and AGAIN. They just prepare the prescription and I collect it the next day! It is worth calling to try to find out if they will do it...0

Elle - depends on the doctor, the medication and so on
I can just phone mine up leave a message with reception and if it's something I've had before (like the painkillers for my hips at the moment or gaviscon...) then they usually don't see a need for me to come in and just leave the prescription at reception for me and reception call me to let me know.
It don't know if 2 years would be too long for them to just re-issue it again though - assuming it's ok to use during pregnancy
Well I had a lovely evening with my cute hubby, just cuddling and watching Yes Man on DVD (funny if you like Jim Carrey) and then Roo decided to start taking breakdancing lessons and although a warm bath calmed her down she settled in the worlds most uncomfy position and I just couldn't get comfy all night so now I'm shattered!
barely slept and when I did it was very light as it was either uncomfy or outright painful...

Hiya all.
Hope everyone is ok.
We are doing great, Ryan has settled into a nice little routine at night, he goes every 4 hours sometimes more, for a feed and straight back to sleep, it's great.
OH and I take it in turns to do the nights, which is a help for both of us, and we tend to spend the first half the night downstairs with bubs so the other can get a good preiod of uninterupted sleep, it's working really well for us.
I cant beleive he's a week old today, it's gone so quick!
OH has gone out to his little brothers rugby tournament today so I have bubs all to myself until about 6pm
I can honestly say that I am so bloody happy right now, I never thought it was gonna be like this, OH has been great, I've even noticed him getting closer to Aston, and is now refering to both of them as his sons.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0
