My MW only works Wednesdays so she's quite hard to get hold of!

And Mrs Tine - I wasn;t asking for medical advice, I wanted to know when other people's muscles had separated and just get some experiences? Cos I know it happens I just don;t know when, how far, etc., which isn;t medical advice is it?

Perhaps if we can;t talk about it on here for some reason, people could PM me and tell me when their muscles separated?

Morning everyone, not posted for nearly a week, so here i go......
your all aware that its team blue for me, oh is thrilled ,ds is not so thrilled and i have now come to terms about it. Ds is still addiment that bro is going in the attic:eek:
Tols all the parents and mum was really nice, she said, 'at least you got experience of looking aftera boy' bless her heart.......
Well now we know its a boy i am gonna use my first car seat i got with travel system when ds was born, but not gonna use the pushchair cus its humungus!!! i ordered the bebe loola that was found on the gabbitts (i think) and i came yesterday, had a play and put it back in the box ready for the attic!!
Got the cot down too, moved furniture about in to ds room to make way for the cot in the spare room, visited the tip, now all thats left is a fresh lick of paint!!
Gonna pick up my matb1 form tomorrow and most os the stuff is done, just the giving birth bit left!!!!

OK, Jasmine is now up and has evicted me from the sofa so she can lie down and watch tv !!! Chris is still in bed, and I can't stop yawning !!!!!!!!!!

Must make myself active, the dishes from yesterday need done and there is a load of ironing to do, but cant seem to get motivated

Is it the tummy muscles, that sort of split to accomodate bump?

Mine separated in 1997 and haven't been seen since. :rotfl:

Hey everyone, long time no speak
Back at work now so i have internet again hehe.

Had doctors yesterday, complete waste of my time

Got there and went in to the nurse, she said "why are you here?"
So i said (sounding confused) "im here for an antinatal appointment"

She asked if i've seen a doc, so i said yes now i have to see the nurse and she didn't know what to do.
She went to reception to ask and they said she needs to fill out paperwork i should have, which i didnt. So she had to call another nurse to ask what she had to do, and she said basically do the anti natal appointment, and told her how to do it. She took my blood pressure, told me everything i already knew. (she had to read it out a book to me but i wasn't allowed to take the book/leaflet thing)
She then said i'll have to book you to see a midwife and wrote my name in a notebook and said a midwife will contact you when your 12weeks +.

Whcih i questioned, said the scan is at 12 weeks so i need to be booked in at least by 10 weeks. And she said i was wrong, then the receptionist said i was wrong. Also said my 12 week scan would be when im 16 weeks?? :S
They couldn't answer any of my questions, so in the end gave me the (wrong) number to the midwife dept.
When i finally got through to the right person at the midwife dept in the hospital they said my doctors are wrong the midwife needs to contact me before 11 weeks so i can have my scan between 11 and 13 weeks. And to go to a diff doctor to get it sorted out.
Joined upto a different doctor today, so hopefully they move me over

oh I see, I have no idea where mine are/were/if I ever had them!

Yes it's those - didn;t realise my post had been deleted! IT was a long one with other stuff in as well I think.

Anyway, I'll be very clear that I am NOt asking for medical advice, just wondered when other people's tummy muscles separated, or if they never did, and of course I will talk ot my MW when I next see her I just noticed it yesterday and cant find much online about it in terms of how usual it is.

Hope that's within the rules now

My muscles have always been buried deep... If I've ever owned some...

Anyhoo... My tumble drier just turned up an hour early Going to put some washing on now seeing as I didn't get round to doing any yesterday... Then have a go at squeezing my bump in the gap and plugging the new drier in...

Just checked my bank on the off chance of the HiPG (Can't even remember when I sent it in!) and noticed tax credits have paid me... It's normally paid on a Monday but we got it Thurs last week because of the bank holiday... Don't know why we got it again today... I'm always nervous with them that they're going to overpay us and we'll end up owing a stack back!
