  • Thanks for that review, geordie_lass

I don't smoke, but we do have a TV and mine and the kids computers in the living room. I hadn't realised the ionisers were as cheap as that, so I might give one a try
  • Yes, thanks for that information geordie_lass I am extremly interested in what you have said. I have just looked online but it says out of stock but I will look on Wednesday in Boots when I am in town.

geordie_lass - thanks for the Ioniser info - might have a shot at that (can always return it if it's useless).

I don't like the big Boots logo on it at all though.

Are there any "Electricals" vouchers around at the moment?

Has anyone seen any reductions on Easter Eggs yet at Boots today?

Just a word of warning with ionisers, we had one (obviously placed it wrongly!) but it left an outline mark of itself on the wallpaper nearest to where it was standing, like it took everything it 'sucked' out and stuck it to the wall.
Just reaslised that sounds gross, but it wasn't a dirty house or anything, thats just what happened, lol.
If they help though, all well and good, just watch where you put them.

I tried an ioniser, not this one, due to sinus problems and it made it worse, woke up with the worst headache I'd had :( But I might try this one.

I checked for one in-store today, and they didn't have it. There was one for 25 quid that looked different from anything online. This was located with the allergy medication.

HELP! I got a dreaded "Beep" earlier when I tried to use the MAGIC 2 vouchers (didn't get the Magic 3 - no Peel voucher from the ACM for me )

I've been on holiday for 2 wks, so I've missed lots of posts, though I've tried to read through as many as I can. Have I missed something important? I thought that, if you had the Line Lift & Highlights vouchers that you needed to buy something less than the value of the Highlights (£10) so that it would be the lowest value of the 3 in the 3-4-2? I chose a nailvarnish at £6.**, so I thought that would automatically go through free? I then handed over my Linelift voucher (thinking that the till would still recognise the £20.** value of the Linelift & Highlights) but it beeped? The SA then tried the Highlights voucher, which worked, but wouldn't override the Linelift, as she said that the till would only recognise I'd spent £6.** on the nailvarnish, which I got confused over, as I thought that was the free item? Can anyone point out where I went wrong? I know I was at a manned (or should that be "womaned"?) till, but my local one doesn't have SS ones & I'd read on here about the tills not beeping & people getting them with SA's? I'd written it all down on a piece of paper, so I gave her the vouchers in the right order, but thinking back, I'm not sure what order she scanned the items in originally - does that affect it when the Peel isn't being purchased, too?

I did manage to pick up 3 x Nivea Lipcare Trios for £2.46, (even though the SEL was full price & no mention of the 3-4-2) & also the L'Oreal eyeshadow Trio using the poohie, so I spend £5.30 & earned another poohie, so not totally a wasted journey, but I felt a bit daft at the till when I had to ask the SA to cancel the transaction & she looked a bit baffled when she said I could still take the Highlights powder with the nail varnish but I muttered I didn't want any of them! :o

I hope the vouchers will work elsewhere, cos she's scanned them once? No clearance shelves at all at my local, which was disappointing & I didn't spot any of the cosmetic bags reduced, either.
BTW, Happy Easter to everyone! :EasterBun
