**Urgent and off-topic message to the user (whose name escapes me) who is visiting Edinburgh Zoo tomorrow**

Over the holiday weekend it has been extremely busy and the traffic has been backed up to Corstorphine because the car park is full by 11.00 am if you are coming from the West. It might even be an idea to park at the Ingliston Park and Ride and take the bus onwards to the Zoo? If you can't get in the car park £3.50 and are parking on the road beyond the Zoo then make sure you are away by 4.00 when the traffic warders will book you! So please make the effort to get there early as even the queues to get in are way down and along the pavement.

Thanks very much EL, logged on for about 10 secs this morning, saw your message and we were off! Got there around 10.45 and into the car park fine-queues were longish but moved quickly and we all had a fab day! (Sorry for the chat but cant seem to find a chat thread-is there not one anymore??)
Anyway back on topic-popped into the Boots in the Gyle centre (thanks again EL!), 2 lonely pooeys sitting in the basket i picked up-good start :T
Couldnt see much in the way of reduced SELs, apart from the Boots make up bag thingys-but was in a bit of a hurry.
Clearance stand had lots of make up in white plastic water cups (very strange-have never seen this before!) and was able to use the 2 pooeys on 2 l'oreal lip liners @ £2-so free :D
Errm, tights and body lotion and loads of boxes of Lindt @ 99p (struggling to remember here!)
Not on the clearance but against the side wall there was a clearance no7 stand with around 30 no grains exfoliating (£3.80) and a few foundations (??) and body creams (£6.**) Various other No7 bits and all on 342..
Neither AC machine was working but nice chap was trying to fix one as i left..
Hope everyones had a lovely Easter :)

edit-No17 wipes £2.95 here in case anyones wondering..
2nd edit (sorry keep forgetting what i wanted to say!) dont know if the boxes of lindt will now go through as part of a meal deal as saw someone with them , a sandwich and a coke-not really up on meal deals, so hopefully someone else will know. Good deal if they will, as they were quite big boxes and there were lots of them! Thanks for the lip gloss trio info and pics passion8-like the look of those, so will keep an eye out!

Suzi, for the Line Lift voucher to work u have to spend £15 or more on skincare and, as Sally06 advised, the Highlights powder is not counted towards the bill; this not only coz it's free but it's not skincare; the Magic 3 working without beeps (specially the Line Lift voucher) is coz the Peel is skincare & b4 the 1/2 price discount it's priced @ £17.60...So if u haven't got the Peel voucher probably try the following:

    Highlights @ £10 (free on 342)
Line Lift @ £12.70 (free WYS £15 or more on skincare)
Something for £15 or more on skincare so the Line Lift voucher works, say, for example, something that costs u £16 (£16 minus highlights voucher)

Then when u give in ur vouchers and coz of the glitch on the Highlights voucher this amount will b deducted from the £16 skincare item u'd buy; so in total u'd pay £6... hope haven't confused u, lol! :o And HTH! :o

    Thanks to Sally06 & M2H :T

Its all making sense now, you didn't confuse me at all!! I must've missed that valuable point in previous posts, I think I was mixing up glitches cos I thought I needed something that was cheaper than the £10 for the 3-4-2 to work. I promise to read more carefully in future! In my defense, having 2 weeks of posts to look through was sending my eyes squiffy! :rotfl:

Can't wait to get to Boots later in the week to give it another go. Thanks again! :A

Hi guys, sorry to be off topic, would have posted on the chat thread but i can't find it  just i bought some no7 tan maintainer when the original pinky and time delay offer was on but i haven't used it. I'm going on holiday in september will it still be ok? and also i'm quite pale with dark hair and haven't been on holiday for 10 years so don't know what cream i need. Is the tan maintainer ok? or do i need something else as well?

    sorry and tia x

Depends what you want it for, are you using it for sun protection, cos thats not its purpose.
    Sorry if I have misunderstood.

    Hi,
I think if you are only going to get 2, those are probably the best 2 to get.
As I understand it, you can get the glyco peel, the highlights and a 3rd item, under £10 (cost of highlights) and you will pay £8.80, as the 3rd item is free in the 342, the highlights is free because you've bought a No.7 item and the glyco is 1/2 price, therefore £8.80.
I don't know about the voucher order, but I imagine the highligher one first.
I think that is right, but everytime I think I've got this glitch sussed, I look at it again and I get all confused (yes, I know, it's very easy to confuse me :rotfl:)

    Ikkle
I'm pretty sure there is no sun protection in the tan maintainer. DD2 uses it on her legs and it does give a nice colour so may be worthwhile to use it a couple of days before you go so you have a bit of colour and then use it to keep your tan going when you get back.

Unopened I think there is a pretty long shelf life and once opened it keeps for 12 months (I just checked mine)
