Morning everyone
My DMP statement isn't up yet but I've checked the accounts that I can online and they have received this month's payment so I gather that another £8.47 has come off the Barclaycard. I've paid another £1.53 off to bring it to a nice round £340.
I'm going to wait for my statement before updating my ticker.

Hey all
Well i've been consistently making a payment daily, although in the last few days it has only been £1 per day. but still denting the total. will hopefully make some good headway in the next week, what with payday.
Well just wanted to post that i have cut up my CC, :j
It's 0% at mo, but i keep forgetting that that's on BT, but not on purchases and i keep getting tempted to spend on it, but 0% on purchases ends next month. don't want to risk getting a statement with a purchase on that i am being charged for.
Anyway that should stop my debt growing. and brings me a step closer to being DF by April 2010.

I can't wait until payday (Thursday!) so I can make some more payments! I did try the 'payment a day' way, but I got all giddy and carried away and ended up paying more than I could afford! Duh! So I prefer to pay my big lump sums at the start of the month, and if I get any spare money then I can pay extra...
I guess it's what ever works for us as individuals!0 -
Hi everyone! I don't know how I've missed this thread!! Could you add me to the list please?!
My 30th is next october  and I really really would like to be debt free by then. It's hard enough paying debts off, but being a single mum to 2 young ones makes it even harder, so these forums are invaluable to me. I joined the PAD challenge in March and so far so good:j I've managed to pay off more than I originally hoped already. The 'things you never thought you could sell' thread is great inspiration and motivation to clear out the drawers and cupboards, so far I've made almost £150 selling what I thought was rubbish!
If you haven't already then I'd recommend you take a look at the printable coupons thread. It's really supportive, albeit a bit mad sometimes! and I've saved ££ already off my weekly shops.
In total I want to clear £6600 by next october.
Wishing everybody the best of luck with their personal challenges! Oh, and thanks FF for starting this thread:TComping wins

Massive congratulations to F_F, :T its so nice to have successes and DFW/B milestones to celebrate on these threads in between your own. Also well done EvertheOptimist on cutting up that card, it feels so virtuous!
Finally Happy (very late) Birthday Emily, well done everyone for the small or large steps we take every day, and sorry if I have missed anything momentous!
No real news to report but Lloyds have offered me F&F on my loan, the bad news is I have 22 days to raise £600  but the good news is that when (not if) I manage it, it will be my first wiped out debt! Also, I am in a bit of a rush and didn't notice your credit card figures in your signature so have just put you as aiming to clear credit cards.
