    Hi,
I bought some Tesco vouchers on eBay last week, just trying to decide what to ask the seller to convert them to.

What I'm wondering is, if vouchers are converted to Deals this coming week then are they valid till 31st March, or 30th April?

Does anyone know definitely, as I am thinking of getting most of them in Days Out Deals but only if they would still be valid over Easter 2007 (kids break up March 30th).

It was a HUUUUGE bargain price IME, badly listed vouchers, don't want to waste them!

(BTW, I don't convert my own vouchers for Days Out very often as I am saving them for a Holiday as previously posted).

    Thanks!

  • Hi Loop

There are a few threads about coupons and as far as I know, if the shop sells the product they accept the coupon without you having to buy the product. Tesco also accept other shops coupons, so this morning when I went they took a Superdrug Olay token for £5 and some Somerfield tokens as well as 2 for Harpers bazarr. They also take more than one of the Tesco Clothing club vouchers if you have them, contrary to the 'one per purchase' claim on the back of them. i got £26 off my shopping so I was ecstatic. It's best to try it when you have a big shop, the stores busy and the cashier is male, young or preferably both. It never seems work in any shop anywhere with a middle aged jobsworth on the till. Hope you make lots of savings!

Maybe mentioned before but Tesco accept Sainsbury's coupons (ie; £6 off when you spend £50 etc,)

    Dear Coupon Mad

I ordered some deals back in August ... they came with a letter dated 25/08/06 ... I have used most of them but the resteraunt vouchers I have left expire 31/03/07 ... in excess of 7 clear months from the day I received them ...

I have read the terms at the back of the deals brochure and it states ...

"Deals Tokens are valid for 6 months once issued unless otherwise stated"

"unless otherwise stated" may likely apply to the likes of holidays which once booked you are required to send in the deals vouchers within 2 to 3 days ... I once did not do this however ... some £800 worth and they still took them around 2 months after I booked ... although they were of course still valid in date ...

These kind of deals have T&C's applicable to each in the brochure ... and likely on the online ordering system too ... if you take a look at the deal/s you require or do a dummy order ...

All this said if you order now ... October 2006 ... your Deals will likely be valid until at least 31/03/2007 & more likely 30/04/2007 ... Easter 'Weekend' falls Friday April 6th to Monday April 9th ... If they still have a little 'date' left on them it may be best to wait till later in the this month to guarentee upto 30/04/2007 if the seller allows you to/you trust them to ....

Hope this is of some help ...

    Kind Regards

    LittleBill ... :^)

    Hi,
1 of my wine orders arrived today and I also noticed that I have been given double points on the receipt :T , have looked everywhere I can think of and Tescos don't seem to be advertising this, so just hope that it lasts until at least tomorrow (got more wine coming!! )

Lets just hope it lasts for a while :D , I seem to remember that they did a double points promotion last year but thought it was nearer Christmas and it was pretty well advertised at the time, so I'm a bit puzzled as to why we are getting them but hey I'm not complaining...................Egypt here I come (courtesy of Mr Tesco of course!!:;)
