Definitely giving extra points at tescos at the moment (not sure why). I picked up a few disgarded receipts today and all were showing what seemed to be double points. Picked up six receipts in all with an example being a £4.87 spend but the statement at the bottom stating you could have claimed 10 clubcard points for this purchase. That's slightly more than double points, so it puzzled me a bit. But all I know is tesco seem to be giving extra points at the moment.

Double points promotion at Tesco - Will let you all know the end date. As i mentioned before this is an excellent way to earn more points before the next CC mailing in November

I got 42 points for a £16.97 shop, I don't make that double!!!!!!!! But hey, can't complain

Have spoken to tesco clubcard customer services and unless they are telling porkies they have told me that there is no nationwide promotion at present but that certain stores have been experiencing technical difficulties hence some of us receiving bonus points.

Dont know if this is really relevent but has anybody here ever used their clubcard deal vouchers at Blue Cactus restaurant in central London? What were your experiences of the place? Can you have drinks at the bar before/after and put them on to your final bill so you can pay with all with Clubcard deals. Anybody been on a Sunday night. Also, is their any other activities/restaurants that people here would reccommend to spend on an upcoming break in London, in terms of good value and how good the "day out" or restaurant is??????

I recently put £1000 into tescos internet bank to get 1000 clubcard points/plus sent some empty ink cartridges in to get some 50 points..Could someone tell me if these points show on your till receipt or will they just appear on my november statement? ,as every time I log into my account it only shows my shopping points.

They wont appear until your november statement as they will be seperate from your tesco grocery spends. You should receive 1000 points from Tesco Personal Finance and your ink cartridge points should show under green points (I may be wrong on that though) on your november statement. Hope that helps.

Would appreciate it if you could let us know the end date as when I spoke to clubcard customer services they said that there was no nationwide promotion and that several stores were experiencing a glitch.

Two different stores I went in today, no-one on CS desk knew about the double points so I changed the subject in case they tried to put the glitch right.

TescoEmployee how come there's a promotion (according to you) but no stores know about it, there are no signs up anywhere and there is nothing on the website?

I am suspicious of you as I have seen your posts on the wonderful misprices threads..............'nuff said!

ah yes coupon-mad I agree and I have my theories too.

As for the Tesco promotion is it a glitch or are they just saving money on promotional advertising !
