My daughters RAC car recovery insurance runs out in september. We have saved enough points to get the renewal using tesco points. We havent used them before is it easy to do and will they just do a renewal or will she have to start afresh?

They are the tokens with the code on I think to use online is that quicker?. It runs out on 6th September whens the best time to apply?
    Thanx

Does anyone know if you still get double points by using a coupon if you are using the clubcard plus?

I mean, I already get double by using my clubcard plus, so will i get triple?

Yes, you will get double points on a CC+ using a coupon.
For instance spend £10 and use a double points coupon means you get 20 points, you then also get 10 points from TPF for using the card, so triple points in total.

I'm in the habit of booking the weekly internet shop 10 days in advance - ie we do the shop online at the weekend - book a week tuesday, and then alter the following tuesdays shop with the things we need.

    ie - on saturday/sunday, we

    1. make additions to the following tuesday shop, bringing it to about £75

    2. Book the shop for 10 days time - the next tuesday. We book a "standard basket" which comes to about £30

The problem is we only seem to be able to add vouchers at the initial shop, when we enter a £30 basket. When we come to add to the basket the following week, we can't add vouchers, only add/subtract goods.

I guess the workaround is to make sure the initial basket has at least the amount above and over the voucher threshold, and then take items out and add as necessary the following week.

Is there any other way round this - If I cancel the shop in order to re-shop and use a voucher, the delivery slot may vanish.

I can't find a link to add a voucher when altering a booked shop.

    any ideas?

    Thanks - John

Does anyone know if it's possible to use a 'Double Points on your shopping' voucher at a Tesco petrol station?

    Thanks in advance

I recently took out RAC online using CC vouchers. It was a new policy but I'm pretty sure it asked if it was new or a renewal during the process. It was fairly quick too. A few days for the documents which they recommend sending back via special delivery. We got the cards etc a few days later, good job really as the day after we had to call them out lol!

Good question - at first I assumed the answer was no, but I've just read the back of my Double Points voucher and it says points from Esso fuels are excluded. So presumably the answer is yes, as it doesn't say otherwise. Can anyone shed any more light on this? That really would be a great return on your petrol - 8p in £1 back in Deals.

I have only ever used my deals for things like magazine subscriptions. I want to take the children bowling and out for a meal with some of the vouchers and I have sent away for the tokens.

What do I do with them? Do I need to hand them in before I order the meal or just at the end when I am due to pay? I feel a little bit embarrassed paying for meals with tokens.

I'd mention before ordering that you'll be paying with Tesco deals tokens..."which I won't have a problem using, will I?", then use them at the end to pay.

Don't feel embarrassed paying with tokens...if the place wasn't going to accept them, then they wouldn't offer to take them in the brochure.

And if you still feel embarrassed, just reflect on what a good time the children will have and it'll be worth it.
