using vouchers for HSA membership
Has anyone done this. Is it worth it. The website says for £28.50 in vouchers I can cover myself,husband and our children. HSA will pay 50% of optical & dentist costs to a max per person per year of £35 optical & £40 dental plus 50% of other health costs.

I always thought HSA wasn't worth it but by paying in vouchers its sort of free so do you think this is a good way to use the vouchers?

Well, the vouchers for the cc came separately, on Saturday morning, with another rack of extra point coupons, so I'm glad I said I'd keep them separate. That said, just to make sure we're not missing any, I'm now keeping track with a little excel spreadsheet of what points when and how, so I know we're on track come the August mailing ...

I've been saving up my CC vouchers for a holiday & was going to book through Cosmos. This however was disappointing as you can only use them on full brochure price holidays. Therefore it's a waste of the vouchers when many companies are offering good online discounts that cost the same as the net cost of my chosen Cosmos holiday after the Deals vouchers have been deducted.

I've now found a better deal with another company so I have unused vouchers to spend.

Has anyone used them for Purple Parking at airports?

We're flying from Birmingham at the end of August.

With Cosmos you're still getting between double and triple the value of the Clubcard vouchers, but it's nowhere near 4x the value when you take into account the discount you would have got if you'd paid by cash instead.

We just phoned Cosmos to price up a holiday we'd seen in their brochure, and the total price came to £870. We said "is that the total brochure price, then?", and he said "yes". At the very end we said we intended to use Tesco Deals vouchers towards it and he said "oh, right, I've got a special Tesco button on my computer which recalculates the price." The "recalculated" price suddenly jumped to £1160 - a whopping £290 more which we have to stump up in cash. It came as no surprise whatsoever but it was horrible the way he "pressed the Tesco button" and the price took a massive leap.

We are members anyway and providing you claim the max eg dentist/glasses/chiropodist/physio it is worth it especially if it costs nothing but tesco vouchers although level 1 is the basic cover.

I am hoping to save enough vouchers to book a holiday to the caribbean or florida. the t&c's for using tesco clubcard vouchers say u have to book 21 days in advance which knocks out some of the really good deals which leave in a week or so.

On the virgin website there are adverts for reduced holidays but when i go through the link, for any of there destinations i cant get a holiday for two for 7 days for less than 1600.

can anyone explain to me how i can get a holiday for about 800 using the vouchers or give me an example of what you have managed to book?

in my experience if bogof take your order below the minimum spend you don't get the points....

Happens to me sometimes too - I ALWAYS reject the entire shop if they do that.

BTW does anyone know where the voucher XX-PLJY for 1000 clubcard points on a £50 grocery shop came from? e.g. magazine or customer mailshot?

What do they do when you reject the whole order? I was worried they might still charge delivery or refuse to do you anymore deliveries. Who do you call when they dont add the points is it tesco.com or clubcard? I suppose you could call while the driver is still there before taking the order but from what I've read you cant trust them to have put the points on even when they say they have

You can only book brochured holidays for Virgin and you will only get discounts advertised in the brochure if you use Tesco deals. They give the website address for Virgin but state that this is for reference only and holidays with Tesco deals must be booked from the brochure. Your best bet is to look through a few of their brochures to get an idea of the prices.
