Tesco Clubcard/Vouchers/Points/Deals - Post All Questions Here

Sure this must have been asked million times already, but can I use clubcard vouchers when they were issued to other people at different addresses (my daughters')? There is a big notice saying No on Clubcard site but it has accepted the vouchers when I have put them against RAC membership purchase. Thanks for any advice.

A week ago I ordered £320 of clubcard vouchers to be converted into Virgin holiday vouchers (£1280 in holiday vouchers) and they still havent arrived so I called the Clubcard helpline and she said that all orders over £200 need to go through security checks to see a) that they are all my vouchers and b) to see how I gained the points!!!

They issued the clubcard vouchers without question so why the investigation when I want to convert them? I got a load of points with the vitamins and talc recently and other than than it has taken me 2 years of online shopping and petrol to build up the vouchers using various extra points codes from this forum etc. I am getting anxious that they may not issue them for some reason, and that would be a major blow to our Florida holiday plans for next year. Has anyone else had to go through this? If I had known this was going to happen I would ordered them in two lower amounts over a couple of weeks to avoid the hassle. Any advice/experience anyone?

I logged onto www.paidtoshop.co.uk and they did a poll to see how long people have been waiting. It varies from 7 days to 21 days possibly because they are scrutinizing large deal conversions. 2 people have said Tesco won`t be honoring their deals, one lady had sent in too many used cartidges, several hundred I think, and the other chap hasn`t said why his have been denied.

I don`t think you should worry though as your order isn`t too large, and you haven`t been waiting that long.

Hi hope someone can help me. My sister has been unwell so I thought I would use my tesco vouchers and treat her to a weekend break. Out of all of the "quality" hotel chains you can use with your deals vouchers which are the cheapest and does the price change according to the location or do the chains just quote you a standard price if you are using vouchers for one of their breaks. She is going to fly in from dublin so I can meet her anywhere within a 2 hour drive from Sheffield, the only thing we really want is the leisure facilities. Many thanks in advance

Going to Liverpool for a hen night @ Easter weekend so i know it will be expensive, trying to cut costs where i can. Pleased to find i can order tesco clubcard deals for entry to Beatles Story museum £2.50 in deals = £10 entry into museum! Yay me!!! This is for my little bit of me time on the saturday afternoon prior to us all meeting up for hen night. (to stop me going to shops as i'm sure Prmiark in Liverpool is the same as Primark in Aberdeen so no shopping will be undertaken!!)

This is the first time i've ever converted my measley points into deals. I'm not much of a tesco shopper really.

One of my tesco vouchers that they sent me has ran out on 31st Feb 2008 I've only just noticed, if I ring them would they put the amount back on my points balace or re-issue the voucher?

I also have 2 accounts in the same name but I hardly ever use the other one could this cause a problem if I ring to ask if they can reimburse me for the out of date unused voucher?

Advised not to buy too much at Tesco just to get enough points
Tesco are offering 100 extra points on every 2.55 pack of Tampax Compak. So for 2.55 you get 102.5 points. As I am about to buy a 7,000 pound car I did the math and discovered that if I bought 1707 packs for approx 4,355 pounds I would get approx 175,000 points which could be converted to 1,750 voucher value and then buy a 7,000 pound car from Motorpoint.
I called Tesco to enquire how long it would take to exchange the miles for vouchers and they told me it could not happen until May. The adviser then hinted that this was going against the spirit of the clubcard deal and that it would be looked at closely and could be declined !! but he would not give his name or tell me for sure until I had gone ahead and bought the product!

Anybody have a similar experience, and could Tesco actually deny the deal?

I never actually got round to calling Motorpoint as to whether they would accept the total value of the car in Tesco vouchers.

This happen to me recently and i emailed CC. All i did was send the vouchers back to them and they added the points back on to my account, so should get them in May.

Hope they do the same for you too!
