Can anyone help me with this answer today as i'd love to get it booked if so?

I'm considering buying some days out vouchers and will need them for 21st April - are they likely to come in time? how long do they normally take as i dont know the process as I've not done it before.

    Much appreciated.

When I have sent for vouchers BY POST, I sent my clubcard vouchers by Recorded Delivery, and they arrived back to me within 4/5 days. I have never ordered online but should be quicker....

Just going back to previous posts about holiday vouchers in large amounts taking a while to come through, I wanted to ask a question.

I've never exchanged for hol vouchers before - do you just get a voucher that looks like what you'd buy in a shop? I'm asking because we're saving for a holiday in Oct 09 and I thought, is it worth changing the vouchers I've got so far for holiday vouchers or do they expire?

    TIA

Does anyone know if there's a page on the website that lists Clubcard offers? I missed the Tampax one myself.

    Can't find anything? Anyone know?

The vouchers you receive are all individually numbered in £100's £50's etc. and have Tesco Clubcard logo on etc. If you have in excess of £500 to change i.e. £125 Clubcard vouchers = £500 holiday vouchers, it is worth sending them off in small batches of say £125 at a time and wait until you receive these before exchanging more doing it over a couple of weeks. This way you stay under the radar of larger amounts and it prevents the extra security checks being done. I recently exchanged £350 in one go and it took 14 days and I was sweating thinking that they were going to be rejected!! My husband exchanged £150 and got his 2 days later.

Once you have received them you have 6 months to use them so if you are going October 09 you don't really need to start exchanging them until the May 09 or August 09 mailings - this way you will collect Clubcard vouchers meaning more towards your holiday. Hope this helps.

That's very useful thank you. I was getting a bit panicky because all the ones I have so far (only about £30 tho) are in a different family member's name, who isn't going, so am a bit worried about this clampdown on not being able to use each other's vouchers after April or May or whenever it is, although, no one seems to have any definite info on this yet.

Will just have to hope for the best, I guess and if not, then use them for a meal or something instead. Although perhaps I could book now and pay a deposit, I suppose. Or even exchange now and pay a deposit this Oct or something as presumably people do book holidays a year in advance.

looking to book a hotel using deals vouchers but noticed that you now have to book 2 nights from friday to sunday.

Im sure I saw on here that Tesco just send you Hilton Vouchers with no mention of tesco and that you can just book through the hilton website and then pay using the vouchers.

Has anyone done this or know if this is correct?

Don't know if it's different for other travel companies in the scheme, but for Virgin you need to have your vouchers when you book (they will ask you for the serial numbers and then you have to post them to arrive within 72 hours), and you can't add to them later!

Thanks - that's worth knowing, as it's Virgin I want to book, so I can't really use so much for the deposit and the rest later then

When you use vouchers for day trips and hotel bookings do you need to choose a specific date for these when ordering or can you use them anytime?
The vouchers are valid for 6 months, so no specific date required.

I ordered vouchers online yesterday morning and they arrived in the post today, website says orders are normally dealt with in 24 hours.
pcg2001I have restaurant tokens, but would like to know if I can use them to pay for the entry at an attraction. I know this is a silly question, but when I first applied I did separate order for different restaurants only to find the vouchers were all alike, so I was just wondering if I could use them attractions...
The vouchers have a number on them i.e. S2001, if you type the no. on your vouchers in the search on the Tesco Deals page it will tell you what they are valid for.
