I forgot about the min spend bit. It is £250. :)

I asked instore about the use of vouchers as I had also heard the rumours. I was told that MFI had no intentions of dropping the voucher scheme thing for the forseeable and there were no other problems to be concerned about.

Famous last words? Who knows, lol.

I'm sure if there were any probs, Tesco could deal with them.

We used ours a couple of weeks ago with no problems whatsoever. Used them to put down a 20% deposit and will pay the balance in a few weeks with vouchers too. It's great! We got some real bargains in the sale too - in effect it was all free as we hadnt bought anything just for the sake of getting the clubcard points, we only ever buy things we would have bought anyway. :)

I have two Accounts for Tesco's so I have two cards to use in the petrol pumps (one card for each of us) the key fob cards mean not being able to use the card in quick pay.

If I merge the two cards the points will go onto one card (I think thats right?) but will I be able to keep both cards active? I don't want the merged one to be cancelled as I need it.

    Thanks Tony

When you merge accounts the clubcard vouchers come with both names and both card numbers printed on.

If you loose or ask for a replacement clubcard the old card and the new card collect points under the same number.

    Hope that helps

There was someone on the radio this morning, saying that MFI planned store closures, cutting back on stock, and concentrating on more expensive items.

My mum used her ones to get MFI vouchers - and we're waiting for delivery of a new kitchen in the next two weeks :) Now keeping fingers crossed that they will actually deliver :)
Everyone has a photographic memory, it's just some of them don't have film.

I used my vouchers yesterday and bought 4 double pine wardrobes and four bed side cabinets. The place was like a ghost town and I had to find a SA. I asked for an extra discount for my purchase and was told no way, the sale price included 30% off I said I was looking at similar items elsewhere and that an additional discount would swing the deal.

I ended up with free delivery and an extra 3% off the sales prices, so always worth asking.

The SA told me that MFI won't be doing the Tesco vouchers for much longer and pointed out that tesco clubcard points are no longer given. He was also under the impression that Tesco only pays them 1/4 of the price of the goods so with MFI losing so much money, with store closures and 1,500 redundancies he said the partnership won't continue for much longer.

However, I am not sure if I believe this as Tesco CS have always assured me that MFI deals will continue for the forseeable future, my only worry was that MFI would go into liquidation before I spent my vouchers/took delivery so hence the visit yesterday ! I really do hope they continue with this deal because in MFI yesterday the only ones who appeared to be spending also had clubcard vouchers.
;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)

Is there anybody else apart from me that has not had their vouchers?
My surname begins with "J" so if they are doing them in alphabetical order I am wondering if I have been missed out and out to give them a ring. If there are still others waiting, then I can be patient. Thanks.

Yes I havent had mine yet: at least I have had the ones for Tesco credit card but not the ones for the normal clubcard. My surname begins with B and I live in the south.
