Hi, this is the first time i have posted on this board so i hope i get it correct.

I'm about to purchase on tescodirect.com for the first time - item is £180. What is the best way to get the most points?? (saving for hol's!) Are there any promotional ones or special offers on at the moment? I know some boards don't allow you to post codes but if u could point me in the right direction i would be really grateful

I recently sent some old Tesco bills (from 2005) to Tesco CC customer services. They sent me a letter saying they are unable to credit any points from bills earlier than 4 weeks. Is this the usual practice?

Please can someone who has flown with XL let me know when you have to confirm your outbound flight by. I'm flying friday but only just remembered I have to do this, 3 days should be plenty of time but I'm getting a bit panicky seeing as I'm at work and the tickets are at home!!!

Just got the new deals leaflet and im a bit confused. on the butlins offer it says the tokens cant be used with any offers, but in the blurb it says 'dont forget to ask about our special offers on selected midweek breaks'. so which one is it.

also haven holidays says you cant use the vouchers with a 50% or 30% off offer, so does that mean if i can get them to give me a discount other than those two, i can use my vouchers to pay for the holiday?

I think £2.50 of vouchers is the lowest denomination you can change, therefore change £5.00 and you will get 2 vouchers for £10.00 in Deals, £20.00 vouchers = 8 x £10.00 Deals.

I just got some Bella Italia ones, and they were all £10 vouchers, plus one £5 to make up the balance.
