hi there
has anyone bought gifts at Goldsmiths rather than jewellery? The website site says you can use deals on watches and jewellery but it doesn't mention gifts...photo frames, wee boxes, stuff like that.

Hi,
I've just started saving my clubcard points for a holiday next year and the plan was to go to haven.
so far ive got about £70
i was just reading the info on tesco deals site about how you transfer them etc... it says that it can not be used with any other offer, i.e sale, discounted period etc!
Has anyone else used them for this purpose and is it cost effective?
We recently booked with three weeks notice for this year at £199 for a £400+ normal price so im thinking if i have to use my points on a higher priced holiday is it worth it?
Im very new to point saving so any help appreciated.0 -
we went to cornwall (haven) in june, when we booked our holiday we was told by haven that because we was using vouchers that we had to pay full price for the holiday, we couldnt take part in any offers. so our holiday cost us the full £610 but at the time if id payed cash the holiday was on offer for £305. so to be honest if you havent got the vouchers to pay for and have a free holiday on tesco then it would be alot cheaper in the long run to pay cash. im not sure how it works price wise if your paying part vouchers and part cash, i would phone haven and query it? i know that if you book it and leave a deposit and give them the vouchers youve got you cant add more vouchers later on the balance has to be payed of in cash. i hope this helps.Hi,

If you have got all of the vouchers it is obviously cheaper to pay for the holiday with the vouchers, despite having to pay full price. I have booked for Greenacres in October using CC deals. I priced it up on the internet before hand and worked out at £290 for Mon-Fri. When I rang to book with the CC deals, it was £300. Therefore, only costing me £75 in CC deals as opposed to the £290 cash.
It does work out cheaper if you have the tesco vouchers you need. Hope this makes sense?! :rolleyes:0 -

Goldsmiths sell a lot more than just watches. We got my engagement ring and wedding rings there.hi there

When we got the wedding rings I had about £10 of vouchers left over so we bought a jewellery cleaning set with the rest of them. You should maybe just go in and ask first to be sure. Your total purchase needs to be £200 though.
