I think the average speed are a disgrace, is there something that we can use so we know our average speed as we all speed up and slow down when on motorways.

Yes there is, keep under the limit.;)0 -
I use my GPS reset the trip counter that records average speed as you enter sometimes I have to stop for 10mins on the Hard sholder to get my average down below 50 before exiting the zone.0

Does anyone know if changing lanes stops the computer tracking you? Someone told me it only works if you stay in the same lane.
Sounds silly, now I've typed it down!
Alternatively, use a motorbike - no numberplate on the front :rolleyes:0 -

Used to be so but they have fixed that little bug now so, no changing lanes does not work.0 -

What's your problem with them? You obvioulsy travel will in excess of the limit if they worry you. Most are in road works anyway so spare a thought for those workers trying to earn a living.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. They are a pain, I have just acquired a client in Nottingham, and there is a long stretch on the M1 covered in the things, plus plenty more in Nottingham, my only advice is stick to the speed limit, or razz through the first two cameras at 120mph, pull over and have a rig then carry on.0
