Just been sorting out recovery with the AA. I was quoted £108!!!! could have a reduction if I took their credit card. Well, I really don't want or need a credit card so decided to look elsewhere as I thought this was much higher than last year.

Noticed Tesco offering a comparable cover with Green Flag fro £63. Went on quidco and could get it for £75 with £30 cashback.

I rang AA asked them what extra benefit was I getting from them and could they give me any reductions or I would be off to Green Flag. They told me only RAC is comparable as Green Flag use local garages to provide their cover. She also told me of some extra benefits which have built up over the years such as being entitled to an extra 2 call outs a year and that she could let me have a discount and it would be £75 for the year making a reduction of £33.

Detailing it here as a reminder to everyone to just make the call! All I said was I was thinking of moving to Green Flag as it was much cheaper, what benefits could they offer that I wouldn't be getting with Green Flag!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I love dysons too. I just shoved a piece of rubbish in the wrong hole and then switched it on. Guessing I then burnt out the motor.

Setmefree, your mortgage is reducing very nicely at the moment -can we swap?

Has it stopped working completely? I have sucked up stuff and broken an elastic band in the past. There was smoke and it stopped sucking....:o
