    Quidco have paid me £15.50 so this has gone straight to ISA.

    Grocery challenge is going well partly as I haven't included Christmas shopping in it.

    Still no Lloyds cashback offers.

    Christmas shopping nearly all done and daughter has wrapped most presents so that's a result!

    AMAZING NEWS! Congratulations!

    Really pleased as I got some supply work which I have been able to use. My bank also started save the change so I should have about a fiver a month from that and the grocery challenge is making a difference. Definitely on target for the £10000 that I want to hit by the end of the year!

    Totals for February:

    Normal estimated capital payment: £547.09
    Estimated overpayment direct to mortgage:£359.41
    Other payment to savings:£0.00 grocery challenge.
    Regular payment to savings: £250
    Other payments to ISA - £208.52
    RPI increase to ISA - £36.07
    Save the Change = £10.07
    Quidco = £51.50
    Council Tax free month = £139

    Total: £1054.57

    I seem to have been spending loads this month and spent more than I have spent on groceries for months. My target is £175 and I spent in the region of £280!!! I blame my daughter. Also eaten out more and bought clothes which are on the credit card and will come out next month. No extra work in Feb so March payment will be down.

    Totals for March:

    Normal estimated capital payment: £547.09
    Estimated overpayment direct to mortgage:£335.45
    Other payment to savings:£0.00 grocery challenge.
    Regular payment to savings: £250
    Other payments to ISA - £339.35 (interest on ISA for year)
    RPI increase to ISA - £36.07
    Save the Change = £14.76
    Quidco = £3.43
    Council Tax free month = £139

    Total: £1178.06

    Much of this was due to the interest paid in March on the ISA.

    Food shopping seems to have gone mad recently, I was managing to stay within £175 but have spent nearly a £100 more than this and we've eaten out loads. Perhaps for three, one teenager and one near teenager, this is too ambitious and I should change this to £250.

    Expensive month as I've signed up for a mobile phone contract for my son for the next two years, AA was due and MOT too.

    I seem to have fallen away from the grocery challenge.

    Do others have times when you take your eye off the mortgage for a while?
