well, they've been shockingly depressing since I first started dabbling 18 months ago. Everything I've touched so far has plummeted immediately after I've bought and I've been switching them around in a plan to try to find something that would leap up and re-gain the losses. This is my first 'gain' and it's a bit of a booger that I can't take the profit and try to put it back into my savings - christ knows, they need re-building. "Stay Wonky":D "Stay Wonky":D

well, whether I'm making the right decision or not, I've just pulled the other £80 odd profit off and sent it to my account. Over the last 2 days, I've (through luck really) managed to get enough to pay off the carpy bill I got. As soon as it all arrives I'll pay off the bill, cancel the DD and go elsewhere for my utilies. I would take the £85 too but dont listen to me, I am over £1k down in my S&S isa.........still drip feeding a little in a month though while share prices are low, waiting for the big recovery to come along.
Not holding my breath, I will be happy if I get some profit by the time I retire:rolleyes:
Just took my lovely 85 year old Grandad to the cemetary to place flowers on my Grandmas grave, she died of breast cancer age 49 and he has never found or looked for love again..........it was lovely to share a moment with him as he took care to clean the headstone and replace the dead flowers.
No idea why I felt I should share that with you but there you go.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0
