Magazine offers - 3 for £1, free gifts etc V

Me too ~ Other people have received theirs, according to their posts on here, so I think we have just been unlucky. Once the offers have hit the forum they do run out of these free gifts very fast.

I've just received the 'No gift' mail from Elle too.
I think I'll just cancel the whole thing - even the £1 for 3 issues doesn't appeal as it's hardly money saving when I wouldn't usually buy the mag in the first place!
Surely they can track the orders?
I think I'm letting this get to me too much

I got the confirmation for the Elle mag sub on the 1st March

i also recieved the confirmation on the 1 march,looks like i wont be getting the gift either!!!!!!!!!!!!

They should have offered some thing else
But still wondering should l stick with it to get the 3 issues for £1.
Does any one know with their subscriptions do they send out the free gifts that appear on the magazine. As they some times have good gifts, eg books, flip flops, t shirts, bags. On this months mag is a free bag.

I had a scripscription to Cosmo mag for a while, just last year they decided : to stop sending out the free gifts on the mags. (now in small print advertised in their mag)Which made me really mad, as they never even told me , till i questioned it. Oh due to increase in postage, they could no longer send the gifts. So canceled that quick smart, mad me annoyed every time in a shop saw that l had missed the gift from that issue. I have a subscribed to Glamour mag for 3 years, yet they can still afford to send the freebies.

Just got the Elle no more gift email as well. Cancelled straight away as wouldn't normally buy the mag.

Dormouse: Wait till you get it the hairspray! I had to read the small print to find out what it was.

Email reply freom Quality Magazines after enquiring why I dont receive the same gifts as on magazines in the shops: Unfortunately it is with regret that I have to advise that due to increased Royal Mail postage charges, we will no longer be able to include the covermounts you see from time to time at the newsstand. Costs have risen over a prolonged period of time and we have been extremely reluctant to pass those costs onto our loyal subscribers. Whilst we have sustained this for as long as possible and continued to absorb them, we now find ourselves in the position of not being able to maintain both the level of discount offered and the provision of the covermount service.

We appreciate that this may cause disappointment and would like to offer our sincere apologies

So it is unlikely that any subsciption from them will be sent gifts with the magazines.
