Magazine offers - 3 for £1, free gifts etc V

Some magazines still give the free gifts, others don't. It all depends on the publishes I think.

So you dont forget about subscription's needing cancelling, pop a note in your calander on your mobile phone, and an alarm will alert you the day you need to phone the bank

does anyone know of magazine sister publishers. I have been told if you sign up for lots then you may get denied certain subscriptions and i was wondering how they worked this out

Just had an email to say i wouldnt be recieving the gift, emailed them back asking why they couldnt tell me before they took my money, not happy at all

What I want to know is if you have a sub dont you still get the free gifts the same as if you bought the magazine in a shop. I'm sure I used to when I had Essentials one year.[/QUOTE]

I've noticed alot of my subs don't have the free gift - the recent delicious didn't have the free recipe book and the recent Zest didn't have the 2nd free magazine. I also think the recent Company was missing something too. Am lucky cause I work in a shop and can get the freegifts if i want to.

I agree. i used to get \Essentals gifts.

I've emailed Prima as I dont see why you shouldnt get the gift. Its supposed to be 'free' anyway and not depend on buying a mag from a shop.

I noticed that a recent copy of BBC Good Homes magazine in the shops had a free gift of a hand-made M&S birthday card, whereas my subscription copy had not.
I emailed the magazine and asked if it was common policy to penalise subscribers, received an almost instant reply assuring me that this was not the case - and 2 cards in the post next day.

Just received my 'The Real Shaving Co' four-pack of lotions & stuff from Men's Fitness :j !

I complained to them after only getting Elemis shaving foam & SOS Survival cream as a substitute for the Adidas wash set - so they sent me out this set as well!
