I got a letter today from Marie Clare give a change in d/d amount to £6 something. I think I took this out for a £1 with free pamper gift (L'oreal which I'm still waiting for). I've already cancelled this d/d after the £1 went out. Will e-mail them too - don't know what that's about.

Anyone else received the Liz Earle stuff and know where it's from?

    Hi misty

i got the same too, i think they're trying to get out of the £1 and free pamper gift offer by changing us to a different offer :(

The offer was first 3 for £1 with the L'Oreal stuff (nice set, btw) and direct debit of £7.50 a quarter, which is reduced now to £6-ish. I think everyone who told them they subscribed with the pamper set should receive the L'Oreal stuff.

Have you received your L'Oreal set? What was in it? I'm still waiting for mine.
  • Hi
I'm a newbie to all this magazine sub stuff so not sure what the waiting times are on the free gifts. I subscribed to the Red offer on 12 Feb which was a Decleor Hydra Floral Gift Set and also to Harpers Bazaar on 28 Feb which were Molton Brown goodies. Not received either of the gifts yet. Do you think it may be worth me chasing them up ? Has anyone else received either of these gifts yet ?

    Thanks

    Hi All,

I am new at this too. I went for the Glamour offer with the perfume. Haven't received perfume or mag yet, but they took my money!! Was the perfume a limited offer? If I haven't got it yet will I not be receiving it? Not sure if I should cancel it and try to get the make up one instead.

I subscribed to the Red very early Feb and haven't received anything yet - I think this is the first gift I haven't received from a sub. The amount of time it takes for things to arrive varies widely. The tresemme hairdryer and hair stuff came really quickly. The Wahl straighteners came in about 48 hrs - other things have taken months - that I've forgotten about them. I don't know if there is any pattern to it. Sometimes when you set up the d/d it means the start date is for a later mag and not the current edition and I wonder if they wait for payment to clear. I think it may depend on the individual publisher.

BTW - somone put me out of my misery re the Liz Earle where is it from? and Grazia - it would have to be a really good gift to subscribe to this again - the mag is not my cup of tea at all and wold never pay full price for it.

I imagine you won't be receiving the Red gift set. I signed up earlier than you and was later informed (by email) that they'd already run out.

Yeah, I got that letter too. Wonder why they reduced the payment amounts? (Not that I intend to pay them, I'll cancel as soon as I get the gift :p)

So what's in the set -- and when did you get yours?
