    ¡Hola! Buenos Dias

Didn't get back yesterday, not sure why:confused:life just overtook us.

    :T:j:rotfl:CONGRAULATIONS CANDY GIRL :rotfl::j:T

I'll make up for it today. Yesterday we blitz the main bedroom and hoovered the dust out of the ensuite and the stairs. Sounds crazy, but you would not beleive how dusty everything gets out here so quickly. I am trying to advise DH that wet cloths not dry ones are needed:rolleyes:, but he keeps getting the dustpan and brush out and I maintain it just spreads it. He complains that it clogs up the hoover:confused:. Do I complain, no way;). Today he is going to mop the ensuite with our new steam mop, which also converts into a hand held (shoulder strap) steamer. One or two have the Lakeland one out here (all floor tiles) but this was much cheaper from Kaildescope and multi use. I am not allowed to use it, it is much too new a toy:rolleyes:. One load of washing done, just about to hang it out but held off as we had a torremendous rain show, which is drying up nicely now as it does here.:T

I went to the hospital for 9 am this morning to have a 24 hour blood pressure monitor attached, and then I see the Dr at tea time tomorow for the results of all the tests. After the whinge last week I decided to apply my own rules and have now lost 7lb since I last saw her. I then looked closer at the wii fit graph, and found I had lost just under 1.5 stone since September, so not doing too badly really:o. Need another 3lb to get to the next stone marker and will try for that in the next two weeks.:A:rotfl::rotfl:I have maintained the hours walk each day, but it does seem to take a chunk out of the day somehow, and the feet and knees are holding up well.

Looks like M didn't get connected yet, bet she is furious. Let's cross her fingers for today, though I seem to be filling in.

    Take care everyone.

    Cooooooeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

Sorry I can't titillate you with my to do list. It's night time here so I'll have to give my done list instead. ;) Worked in the kitchen this morning making some fish cakes, bread & a chicken type casserole. Washed but they didn't dry as I forgot to bring them :o and it's been showers here anyway. DH arrived home at lunch. He already takes his cut lunch but of course eats another. And he wonders why he's getting a big gut. :D

After lunch I went down and saw DGS & he came home with me. Wanted to sleep over but I reminded him play group is tomorrow. He's having a Ninny day up here Thursday. DS2 was suppose to fly out at 4.45pm but his plane was delayed and didn't leave until 6.30pm. He's staying with DD tonight and will make his way here in the morning.

Candygirl Congratulations on becoming a grandma.
taplady You might have to give him a bit of extra cheer. :D
Snowy Nice to see you're upbeat. Might be a good day to tidy your desk. :rotfl: Pig flying over Ireland alert. :p

Hope you all have a lovely day. It looks like it's going to be a wet Easter (again). Why does it always rain at Easter. Bah humbug. :D <hugs> to those not well. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Morning OS friends, hi.gif

sistercas - Thank you for posting the token, I do appreciate it! I just love Wallace and Gromit
    DonnyGal - Well done!
nic1lou2, Squiggles, Moggins, Sybil - *waves*
celyn - I am not far from Exeter - it's a lovely city, especially down around the quay.
Ladymay - Glad you turned a potential into an OH! Well done you! Nice to have you back.
    Halight - thinking of you

Yesterday turned out drizzly for most of it but today it is lovely and sunny. My MIL is here to do some gardening for me so I hope it stays that way. I must get my tree lilies planted, put my blueberry bush in a bigger pot and clean out the pond.

I am so tired. My head was going round and round last night and I watched the clock hit 0330. Then at 0900 the phone rang... followed by the doorbell (postman) at 0945. Then my MIL arrived (she has a key but couldn't resist a 'Yoohoooo' as she came in the door) and I guess I must have been dozing again 'cos I think my body left the bed as I jumped in suprize at her voice.. *chuckles*. I finally gave up and got out of bed but I feel rather zombie like.

Tadpoles are growing well. Have discovered they love cucumber! I put a few strips in and in the morning all that is left is the skin, they have eaten all the soft flesh. Fascinating!

My sister sent a message via a neighbour to say she no longer wants me to give gifts to my nephews. She wants even that avenue cut off. I am distraught.

Tristans birthday today. Back in January I would never have taken bets on him still being with us so it's a bit of a miracle, and I still believe it was all the prayers and thoughts that went out to him that did it. :T:T

Sorry, really not much OS to talk about, not even the BM has been on today. I know the lack of OS annoys some of the older posters, but all I can do is apologise, that is just the way life is right now. My home help and OH do the cleaning so I can't write much about that!

I hope you all have a good day. Warm gentle hugs hugs.gif to everyone who needs or wants one - do something nice for yourself today.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    None OS Post :o

I've got a poorly tummy - suspect via little bear. It isn't bad, life threatening or anything, but I feel a bit like a tube.

Fortunately I haven't got anything else that little bear had

Really just popping on to give hugs especially to MSD. You are a wonderful person, and just because someone else turns away from that does not make you less wonderful. Perhaps you could write letters and put away a fiver when you would otherwise have bought and when your nephews are older they will know that you cared for them. There is a good chance that they know this already.

No water, as NEW SINK UNIT BEING FITTED :j:j:j:j:j You would not believe how long it has taken to get to this, and it didn't need pulling out, it just sort of crumbled. But I have already had one load of washing on, so that is old style. :o

Donny-gal - well done on your weight loss, I am impressed.

    Hugs to all.

    Afternoon all.

Tomato bread is merrily baking in the BM, and Shepherd Spy is cooking, ready for our lunch at 1 o'clock, as Mr LW is w*rking from home today.:j

Have also made a few more candles - I am gradually whittling down the big box of wax I have for recycling into new candles.

Blokey from the mobility shop has been this morning to service my scooter.

Mr LW and I will be going into town when he finishes w*rk today, to get him a new razor. The one he has is ancient, and the blades keep falling out, usually into the bath, when I'm in it!

Hope everyone's having a good Tuesday.
