Morning all
Dropped hubby at work after cooking his breakfast & he's taken a packed lunch, & have fed me & the dog, I shall walk her later as I need to wait in for a delivery, it'll be here before 1.
Today I need to finish off my bedroom & get the last of the washing dry.
Make chicken ham & mushroom pie, jerk chicken & stock from the remains of Sundays roast.
I shall also tidy the front bedroom, it really only needs a swish & swipe.
I must seek advice, though I'm not sure where from, the DD of the people who used to live here has started giving out this address as hers & we keep getting bills through in her name.
I also need to vacuum through twice a day, now I remember why I don't have a dog of my own.
I'll do as much as I can today as tomorrow will be wiped out by the funeral.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester

Hello everyone
I woke to a lovely sunny sky, but it has now clouded over and raindrops are falling. Never mind! This is Ireland and I keep reminding myself that it is supposed to rain here.
After yesterday's fiasco I've dusted myself down - today is another day after all. I've just got to keep trying and something will come along eventually. Thanks again for your support everyone, it really does help to have so much encouragement.
Today's to do list comprises most of yesterday's list:o along with a trip to the dump to get rid of an old duvet, old pillows and heaps of glass, paper etc for recycling. I'm quite good with the recycling but am very slack about cleaning out cat food tins and they end up in the normal bin - as far as I can see there's nowhere for them to go at the recycling place anyway
Ooo LadyMay, love is in the air:heart2::heartpuls I know you said early days, but you never know where this might lead. Enjoy yourself finding out.
Bye for now.

No, haven't seen Halight for a couple of days. Hope you're ok Halight.
Just updating how I'm getting on to keep me enthused.
Have walked the dogs because the forecast is rain later. It was lovely taking them down the trail. I let my older one off the lead and she was sensible and only trotted along so her leg should be fine. It was lovely seeing her enjoy the sniffs. Younger high as a kite dog was on long lead so I could haul her in should there be a need. Must go for a run tonight down at the common and help her burn off some energy.
Went to our local DIY and bought my roller set and some more paint. I have bits left in 2 tins but will need more. I'm only doing white at the moment and if it is too stark then I'll put on a light coat of something else. It's for the bedroom and I really would love just white and blue theme there. Oh, and clutter free . We're putting the house on the market soon so I need to keep that in mind and get all my jobs done during the college hols.
Didn'#t remember the charity shop bag and the shop was open but ah well.
Have bought Easter cards. The lady in the shop was saying that stapms have gone up - 3p more for First Class. I have some anyway. Big jump though.
I've moved the bookcase and DH's chest of drawers and will have to tackle the dust behind there before I paint. I was thinking of going back to Fl*sh because of some comments on the threads recently but I will use my Stardrops, vinegar and water mix and think of the environment. I've got the breathe easy paint as well. Go me.
Ok, it seems as though I have to actually go up there and start working then..............will just finish this cup of tea and have a little browse first:p
