Did your receipt say that 10-ish had been taken off the price? I have hunted high and low for my receipt - if tomorrow's order is at discounted price I'd prefer to take back the 2 eggs I bought instore today. But I can't find my receipt anywhere and think it may have blown away when we fed the ducks across the road.
I do know that we were charged £22-ish though, so adding up everything I bought it does suggest that they went through for £3, and I definitely saw on the receipt that £10.98 had been taken off for the eggs.52% tight0 -
My receipt states, at the top:
Easter Eggs - 6 @ £6.99 = £41.94
At the bottom where the deductions are:
Cadburys Eggs 2 for £3 = -£11.94
This equates to 6 eggs for £30 (meaning 2 for £10)
I should have paid £9 (6 eggs @ 2 for £3), meaning a difference of £21 (£30 - £9 = £21)
So DTD adds up to £42. Sorry for explaining like that but I confused myself trying to work it out!!If at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

Not working in my store tonight
Same as the others, came up on the receipt as 2 for £3, but only took off the 3.98, leaving them at 2 for £10.
I asked the SA to remove them, and they happily did. I didn't feel like arguing
Missed out on this one!0 -
Nipped into my local, got charged 2 for £10 so took them to CS just planning to get a refund. Pointed out the "2 for £3" on my receipt and the CS woman refunded me £14 (overcharged £7, DTD = £14). I didn't even mention DTD, she just volunteered it.
Very happy thanks OP.

well, I've been hanging on to get eggs for nieces and nephews (all 10) so this was welcome news. I've asked for delivery 9-11am tomorrow so if they are out of stock (oooh no) or charging more than £3 for 2 I;ll have chance to dash across to HB. Many thanks to op and code finders.:EasterBun
