Just like to say a huge thank you for this thread. I nipped round to my local on Monday lunchtime. The SEL said £6.99 but I thought what the heck. Bought some wine also, all went through but was coming up at £34..eek I think but then the discount kicked in and hey presto they went through at £3 :j Gave them to my DS so he and DD can give to their lovely parents aka me and DH at Easter.

Thanks this was a great post!!!

My delivery slot was between 8pm-10pm, arrived at 8pm on the dot but without the eggs. Said they were not available.

I was still happy though as used a couple of the codes and also got alot of Thai Kitchen items at half price which were in stock and delivered.. :j

Many thanks to Hanna and egg op, its been an eggsciting few days for me scrambling to the online checkout and then tentatively waiting on egg shells until delivery arrived. And then the white was over and the yolk was on tescos:T

Just recieved my refund of £36.99.

The other year they sent me 2 orders of 2 discounted christmas hamper by mistake instead of just the two I ordered without even charging for the second.

My eggs arrived on Tuesday. They didn't allow the correct discount, so I rang them, no probs.

None of the codes worked for me tho!!

I have to say the eggs are NOT worth £7!!

I love Cadburys chocolate! Especially buttons and the egg looks similar to that. Waiting til Sunday to eat ours!!

Received a refund of £24 today for the difference between the substituted eggs and the ones I ordered!! So I ended up with 6 large cadbury easter eggs, a refund of £24 and 750 clubcard points, so I am very happy Tesco did say that they 'wouldn't refund like this again and only will this time as it was my first time ordering for home delivery and the driver failed to tell me I could return'
