Yikes, it's their mistake - how dare they say 'not another one' as if somehow you are the person in the wrong?!

My tesco sold me 2 for £3 after 5pm tonight - the till let me have them at that price. You'd think if it was an error that they would have changed the tills by now, and possibly removed their shelf edge labels?!

I only bought 2 because they were caramel, and I could only think of 2 people who don't hate caramel lol!

I've just checked online again and the offer is still showing. Think if they know theres a problem they'd have done something about it by now surely???

I sent kids down town to get 4 . Wouldn't work on the self scan but went through on the tills. Really pleased

I called to my 2 local Tescos tonight and no luck! There were plenty of the eggs on the shelf but they were marked up at £6.99. I asked a man who was stacking shelfs with other eggs and he said that there were no offers on those eggs. He did tell me that a few people had been in today asking the same question.

The only way I found it was by typing cadbury egg in the search bar, interestingly if you type cadburys egg it doesn't find it.

They'll be getting a lot of eggs returned tomorrow if they don't honour the offer. Might well end up with egg on their faces!!! ROTFL....... The offer is still on the web, you think they would have realised by now, or at least be wondering why theres a run on these yolks!!!!

i went to my local tesco this afternoon, and they had quite a few of these eggs but the price said £6.99, but i took them to the self scan, and once i had scanned two and pressed finish and pay it came up as £3 so i got 6 eggs in total for £9!! thankyou for posting about this I'm very happy!

The SEL was there in my Tesco this afternoon but sadly no eggs!

My tesco only had one egg which was annoying lol! The friendly assistant looked out back and didn't see any but she came to find me later to say she'd discovered 2 boxes - yay! Only caramel though.

On way home i checked Tesco Milton Cambridge - SEL still showing offer of 2 for £3 but no eggs. Bar Hill Cambridge had lots of eggs but SEL said £6.99 no offer, so i put 2 through the self-service and till receipt showed 2 for £3 but took £3.98 off (making them 2 for £10) so i went to CS who went to check and came back and said had spoken to manager and they had been notified of a problem and that the offer was 2 for £10 - i argued that my receipt clearly said 2 for £3 but they wouldn't honour them so i said they could keep them and he gave me £13.98 refund (i should only have got £10!!). I said a friend had ordered them online today and would that be honoured and he said he doubted it.
