You do have my sympathy! Wine gums and cereal bars worked for me. Also, try having something to eat before having a drink in the morning. If I had a drink alone I was even more sick than usual.

... I got a letter the other week (I think it was sent to everyone under 25 or registered at fam plan/GUM or something) offering me a free test its just a pee in a pot test so don't understand why they don't test for it at booking in along with the other stuff - in fact why don't they test for everything at booking in, considering you've obviously been put 'at risk' if you got preg :rotfl:

Oh yeah, meant to mention that earlier - there's a stand at the entrance doors to our outpatients bit of the maternity unit with lots of packs in for this. I haven't got one but from reading the info on the stand I gather it's a pee in a pot and send a dipstick thing away to be tested type thing. Supposedly for under 25's but I can't imagine they'd just bin any samples from anyone over 25

They test for chlamydia here if you are under 25. Cos obviously, after 25 you can't get a STD.....

DS1 is now ill, oh what joy. I love my kids, I love my kids, I love my kids......

Never been pregnant myself (despite username I am a girl) but whenever I feel sick, I eat arrowroot biscuits.

got my 16 week appointment on wed. also having more blood tests. think its the triple test.
wonder will the midwife have a listen for the heartbeat. i got excited when i was at the gp on fri, cos he had his stethoscope on my belly, thought he was listening for baby heartbeat, but no. listening for my bowel moving?!?
have had a good day at work. no stress at all. just got on with things.

Working Tax Credits are a "family income" thing, aren't they, not just my income? I've never looked into it.. all seemed too complicated and I've always been childless and under 25.. until now! (How'd that happen?!).
