I have practised with a doll and it feels really comfortable and I like the idea of having beanie snuggled close to me. I think I should be able to BF discreetly with it too. Cant wait to try it with beanie.
That looks brill!! Will it fit two HA HA HA :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I don't have a midwife in the UK - I'm here till next week at the earliest and my doctor's in Germany. If it's still so swollen tomorrow or the day after I'll call the maternity hospital and see what they have to say, since I don't have a GP here either.
You should call NHS Direct on 0845 4647

There is a small chance you could be suffering from pre-eclampsia which is why you are advised to always seek advice for swelling0 -

My bump is doing freakish things.. Not sure what's going on in there, but feels like those tumble turns you do when swimming lengths, plus whole bump keeps going lopsided and then oddly "pointed" like he's poking his head up or something!
When can you start telling which bit's which?0 -

One of mine did that last week - really freaked the other half out, we weren't sure if it was a head, foot or bum moving about but I reckon she did a full turnJust trying to get comfy I guess

OH's new phrase.. "Stop tormenting the baby!". There's a solid wall between us - how does he know I'm doing it?!
How high up should you feel kicks/punches? I imagined if baby was head down (like 35+ weeks), or lying on his back face up that all the kicks/punches would be around or above my belly button but do they not go that high?Everything I'm feeling now seems to be far down or an inch or two below my belly button..

Hi y'all. I've had to speed read like a million pages today!
Lots of hugs to all those in need and congrats to the newbies.

Nikabella, thinking of you and really hope all is well.

Elle - most of the kicks I'm getting are at belly button level or below - baby's favourite position (confirmed by the scans) is breech - feet down, head up.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0
