I win stupid parent of the day!
DS3 has been coughing/wheezing for a couple of weeks - probably due to pollen - he has an appoinment next week to see GP. In the garden earlier what did I do - got him to sniff the viburnum tree which is probably about as heavy as tree pollen gets!!! Stupid stupid parent - he has never been diagnosed with hayfever or ashtma but I think he has them - itchy eyes every spring - just dosed him with piriton and sat him indoors.
Found a copy of the letter on the school website! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Have now washed not just the master bedroom/bathroom windows, but all the upstairs windows - the insides, anyway, because I can't reach the outsides, even with my ladder.
Have decided that clearing and cleaning the master *bathroom* floor will count in place of doing the master bedroom floor.
Landing gibble (never heard that word before this thread, but strangely I think I know what it means!) and bedroom furniture will have to wait. So no star for Monday.
Tuesday twinkles! - Living room, hall and stairs!
Set two of the kids to cleaning out the cupboard under the stairs, where the coats and shoes live, so that's done :-)
So the only remaining thing is:
Spend half an hour doing something for yourself! .. make yourself a hair appointment or something! - I am about to go and run a bath. I will have the baby in with me to start with, but once he's cleaned, I'll hand him over and have a soak on my own in bubbles and water the temperature of lava.
So TOOTS! - can I have a star for today please?

Evening everyone
Welcome Broke22
Fly-flo - good news about the insurance payout - welldone on the dog washing!
michelle - happy birthday
Dusty - you're not a bad Mum. A bad Mum, instead of getting DS to sniff the vibernum would have made him a drink of tea from the laburnum! At least you now know it's definitely hayfever!
Emily, you could try soaking it in diluted white vinegar for a bit then dabbing biological washing liquid on it and washing it again. What's it made of?
Totally boring day at work today. Absolutely nothing to do! We're waiting on documents....... I have saved up a little bit of work to see me through the first hour tomorrow morning just to give me the impetus to get out of bed and go there! But, good news, all the permies have been given all of Thursday off (they had the afternoon off anyway because it's Maundy Thursday - a civil service thing) and the decree came down from on high this afternoon that they could all work at home on Thurs am. Other uniformed personnel have been stood down for the day too. So, as I'm not allowed in on my own, I get the day off
Means a nice long weekend.
Am flying. But I diverted from the living room to wash the kitchen floor as DD popped in and has taken BB out for a walk so I've been able to get that done without doggy paws undoing it before it's dried!
Will now off to Dyson the living room.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi Clarissa - you must be working from an old list - are you trying to confuse me :rotfl::rotfl: the order and contents of the list change from week to week - Ok I have given you 2 stars for the 2 rooms we have on this weeks list so far (see post 1) the master bedroom and the livingroom - as the other rooms come along just check you have done whats on the list that day and remind me that you need a star!!! Hope that makes sense! You are going mad with the cleaning -or maybe your house doesnt really need much cleaning just the structure of the lists to keep you on track - well done anyway!!!:T:T:T=clarissa_D;20449649]Hi ya every one

Thanks for my stars Toots, not sure I would qualify, being in the caravan but I am substituting for other things.
If the weather stays fine and something comes up that cannot apply in the van. I want to cleanout and hoover the car, so will do that instead.........
The WM was playing up testerday, so I ended up bring some slightly damp clothes with me, they are now dry, thanks to the radiator in the awning and I have put them away.
Apologies, I like to put people's name in bold but for some reason the computer is not letting me.....
OOHH, it does on edit but not in a reply?????0
