I am really wanting to move my bedroom around and make more storage but need some one professional to come round to look at it and see how to fully plan it all as I would love slidy doors and extra storage :D

Hi Clarissa, if you want to PM me with some room dimensions and sizes of furniture you want to keep, I can see if I can help (photos are good too if you like)...

Well I have been through the ironing pile, sorted it all out and have put most of it away, am now about to hang up what is left and put that away too - I will start ironing what is out on the airer, but just looking at my ironing pile was too scary to start and I have been procrastinating about it for weeks - small bits every night I think (lets see how long it lasts this time, as I've said that before...:o:o:o) My mum would have a fit as she is like Valli (bless... :rotfl:) and irons everything, actually she's worse as she really irons everything, tea towels, towels, socks, pants, knickers, bras, etc... even dusters!!!:eek::eek:

Need to go do dinner now as my stomach thinks my throat has been cut...

Kaz, unfortunately, no slow cooker but it is on my wishlist, hehe, will just throw it all in a saucepan and keep an eye on it, Thanks.

Weather getting quite blowey now and I think there is rain coming in, so time to go get DD and batten down the hatches!!!!

    Hi all

Please can you add me to the list?

I was on here a couple of years ago and it really helped but then I drifted.
Bit easier to keep things a bit straight as my dd is now at uni (although currently at home hence the need to tidy/clean/declutter - how can one 18 year old cause so much chaos?!!)

I have kept on track with paying my debts and need to keep on top of cleanings/decluttering as I know that makes me feel so much better about everything else.

Although it's just me usually, I work full time (teaching) and also tutor in the evenings (extra work to pay off outstanding debt - hopefully will be debt free by summer 2010) and so generally am tired and then flop in front of the tv. Need a kick up the wotsit to get my act together and do a few chores every day. Away Saturday for a week but thought as it is school hols should try and make a start this week to try and get into some sort of routine, and try to do a bit of decluttering. Wish me luck - I may never be seen again!

I have sorted out the freezer this afternoon so that was a start - now I have to try and do some other stuff before tv draws me in...
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Happy Birthday Michelle.
Big hugs to pigpen wheather you want them or not. I remember when i was told about dd having cerebral palsy and i cryed for a week, just with the shock and the way we were told.

I've managed nothing this last few days as my sister and BIL have been up everyday, but there away now and i'm in a flying mood. Woke up looking to paint the bedroom, hubby said no.:rotfl:

I'm trying to catch up on the thread so big hugs to all and big congrats as well, hope everyone has a lovely easter break (with lots of chocolate).

Now i'm away to make a start on the monday list, back later to update.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Flippin heck Thriftykatie that's a stunner of a tree! Hi there and welcome! Actually welcome back - could you not take a lodger? Or a foreign student - they come here to learn English for a few weeks (I mean Valliland) and pay quite well..just a thought! Cos it sounds like you've a real burden there.
D'you what this thread is REALLY good for - it gives me the impetus to do those 'around to it' jobs..
I bought the frame for the picture DD did in Y5 (she's now year 8 - second year secondary school for the Scots among us) framed it AND hung it on the wall. 3 years...
my life - and my housework - just gets easier with every bit of flinging and flying...and all those HHCs which motivate me!
Flower - pleased about the payout - get that Vanquis card paid off - it's costing you a fortune - you know it makes sense!

Rach83 What are you trained as?

Hex - good luck for the interview...
