Have Waitrose stopped the vouchers for free stuff? Its been several months since the last one (family meal) and I'm sure I used to get one through every month.

I also just had some money off vouchers through the post today for £10 off a £80 spend. I wonder if these are instead of the tasting vouchers...I hope not!

I also had these £10 off when you spend £80 vouchers through today, nothign else for ages though!!

I got the vouchers too but I do not even spend £80 on my weekly shop so I am unlikely to spend £80 in Waitrose!

Yes my DH got the £10 off £80 spend. We never spend this much on food in a week at any one supermarket so won't be doing this at Waitrose anyway.
  • I had these £10 off £80 spend vouchers, I thought they must be having a laugh,I barely spend that in a fortnight!!! Still I suppose it may encourage some to change supermarket which is probably why they are doing its

You can use them at Tesco because they are a competitor but if you don't that much then pretty pointless unless you do a big shop.

I have used money vouchers from Waitrose, Asda and Morrisons at Tesco :j
  • how did they accept them if they are for waitrose - im really baffled by this!

Tesco have a policy (unfortunetly not all staff are aware) where they take any voucher from any other supermarket which you can use in Tesco. It started a few years ago but is rarely spoken about and I'd guess that is just because it can be quite alot of hassel to get them to do- but it is something they do offer. If you have any probs, give Tesco customer service a call and get them to hassel the store on your behalf maybe.

I thought the policy was that Waitrose would take a money off coupon if they stocked the product, even if the voucher was for another supermarket? :undecided

I didn't think they would accept the Waitrose one for £10 of an £80 spend at Waitrose? But hey I maybe wrong and if they do fab, but I don't spend that much in one supermarket in a week anyway.
