Vanquis Increases / Statements

Hi,
I've had my card since November 2009 and no increases.
Managed to get my finances in a good order over the passed 12 months so a wee increase would be nice.
I've never missed a payment (direct debit active since November) and also made a few extra payments towards the balance. I've never been over the limit. My limit is £250, never had any bad marks on my credit file, not even late payments.
My 6th statement came through at the beginning of May, and nothing. I've seen a few people got an increase on their 7th statement (after 6 payments) so here's hoping!
I'll keep you updated.0 -
Morning everyone!
I had a text message from Vanquis yesterday afternoon telling me that my account limit has been increased from £1500 to £2500 (they last increased my limit - to £1500 - back in January).
I await my next statement to see if my APR has gone up even more (they increased it on the last credit limit increase)!
Hmmm...0 -

Just make sure if you hit that £2500 limit pay it off straight away if not your interest will be £115 a month.... or could even be more0 -
I only use it for eBay nowadays (and also in case I need to pay for any "unexpected" big bills temporarily), I don't intend on maxing it out.
Interest is ridiculous though - surely the government should be proposing some sort of cap for finance companies, like for example those doorstep loans that charge like 2000% APR or something equally ridiculous...!0 -

Yeah I know, crafty b*stards aren't they! Still, they fulfilled the main reason I got the card - to rebuild my credit. Next year I might try and apply for a "normal" credit card and see how I get on. I'm sure my credit status must be improving as time goes on?!0
