OH had Vanquis for 2 years???? £500 CL still however she has late payments ( Due to her CBB attitude ) Its a good life for those whom have a good credit rating! She still get accepted for most things !!!!Bank Accounts - Barlcays Premier[/B] - £1000 o/d, HSBC - £200 o/d- First Direct - £500

I can't work Vanquis out.
I had one increase on statement 4 from £250 to £500, i have just got statement 10 and still no further increase. Funny thing tho is they did put a leaflet in the 10 statement telling me tips on how to get a further increase.
Pay in full by DD every month but i never spend more than £90. Usually much less.
Is it bad idea to phone up and ask for an increase?
BINGO! At last i got a increase credit limit from Vanquis. :T It took me ages to get an increase from them.
They put it from £500 to now £1000!! And also Aqua have reduced my APR from 34% to 29% so today the postman brought something welcome for a change.. lol0 -

Last year i applied i think at end of July. My first statement was dated from last August so 10 months. I thought i was going to be the one that never got a new credit limit.. I'm really happy now.

Not sure why, but i still havent had an increase from Vanquis. I have had the card since September last year, never gone over, pay by DD etc etc, and started with a £250 limit!
Not bothered, just think it is strange as everyone else seems to have an increase!0 -
should be getting my first statment anytime now. spend £70 but getting a refund so that will go back on it.0
