Not sure which account you have kilasuit, but i opened both Cap1 and Vanquis accounts in early March. The 1st statements for both show payment due dates fall around 10-12 of this month, May.
So what you've been told sounds about right imo.
Congrats on the increase Brian1966.
all the best

I don't see the APR as a HUGE problem. I mean if you spend £100 on the card, it's around £3 interest a month if you don't pay it all off. £3 isn't going to make me lose any sleep. If you had £1000 sitting on the card, I could understand paying £30 interest a month, but if you carry over a smaller balance, it's not to much interest to pay.
Oh, I thought the interest would be added onto the balance so e.g. if I spent £100 and had a 39.9% APR (though mine might be higher) the balance would then be £139.9 next month if I didn't clear it?
I don't really understand how it all works, but don't want to be stung again.0 -
never-in-doubt wrote: »True, my balance was £250 last month and interest was about £8 - I put £50 in bandit today so can't whinge at a paltry £8.....

So you'd just need to pay £258 to clear it off totally for next month?0 -

Yes but I rarely pay it off, for the small apr no need to (my apr is just 34%) LOL
Seriously, don't worry about it - just pay what you can afford and dont worry about minimums etc - it wont matter. You should get treated like the rest of us, just use card wisely....

I'm definitely going to be careful with it and it isn't going in my purse so I'm not tempted to splurge :rotfl: 0 -
