You have to go to User CP and the click Contacts & Friends on the left.

I've just found that, but I can't see how that is an improvement. I'd rather have the Open Buddy List, in the Quick Links because a) it's quicker, and b) you can see if someone is online too. The My Profile option has also disappeared.

I see even Martin was saddened by the number of rude/ignorant people that use MSE these days *sigh* Us nice MSE'rs wish they'd just bog off but no such luck I'm afraid

I wanted to say thanks for the "remove your thanks" function - I can see how it might come in useful sometimes. (And I just tested it on MSE Neil's post... but I re-thanked him! )

Thanks guys, I co-run a popular fansite and understand just how much hard work goes into running the site. Of course it's noway near as big as this site is but with a database of some 18,000 pages I understand how big an update can be! (and scary if it doesn't go right!)

But these things are sent to try us and each fixes and secures things that bit more so not all bad
