That's one I've not seen before. I am trying to see if they help non-christians.

The lady who was paying £100 a month went to them.

    hi

Yes the definately do support non christians and their focus is probably for those with no faith. In the interests of disclosure - I do work as a volunteer support worker for them.

With hall due respect, that is not fair.

Re-read the thread and it is quite clear I have not been nasty to anyone, except saying 'idiots' after a bunch of abuse from people that wouldn't even respond to me.

I understand what its like to be a long-term member of a forum, and how members protect each other, but this is going too far. And I received more abuse than help. I don't think that is the point.

People responed to you, as we are still,
Yes we will protect old members, on a forum, but we will protect newbies, maybe something you are not used to

You have not been abused , a few pointers may have been quicker than you expected:confused:

SO.... Instead of batting on about this give us an SOA and see how helpful we can be.

I will bat on about it as much as I can (and like). What happened here was not fair and I happen to be a big supporter of fairness. If people keep telling me I'm wrong, it justs shows this place needs to re-look at itself.

But........ yes, thank you for the advice. Putting the SOA here is a good idea. Will probably make me act more knowing people can see the horror I've created.........

For what it's worth I've reported this thread and the fact that most long term members seem to be overly supporting others that through insults without thinking.

Perhaps I haven't been abused, but it wasn't fair and as I said in the last post, all you long-termers defending these people just shows things are not right here.

You made a good point though about people did respond to me. I would like to say a big thank you to those that did, especially given the spam abuse that followed my post. I know that must have been off-putting and made replying more difficult. Believe it or not, I'm one of the good guys, but I won't accept this treatment lying down. Not for myself but for others that come here.

it should.....I know it just won a financial award from MSE recently voted by the service users here (I think it was January time which you can probably search) so MSE would advocate it amongst the charities who give free debt help. Who runs the List and can you have it added?

Christians Against Poverty: Debt counselling agency, which specialises in helping those who are emotionally struggling too. The religious focus is why they do it, not how they do it. Link: Christians Against Poverty Tel: 01274 760720 Opening times: different for each bureau

    It is on the list!
